I have always loved cobalt blue glass! Sometimes I feel that I am just drawn to it. Now there is a lot of the cobalt blue glass out there that is not that deep dark blue color through and through or some of you have came across some items that looks glazed painted, that I believe to be. But, these glasses are so intense with that beautiful true cobalt blue color. Plus the weight of these glasses are heavy enough that they don't feel like they're to fragile to handle. These Blueboys are not just for special occasions or to be gifted for special occasions (mother’s still has her crystal in her china cabinet gathering dust). You use them everyday to make you feel special, I do because they make me feel special, love them! vik >

These glasses look pretty and more expensive than they cost. Good for drinking wine, water and/or any beverage. The glass is thicker in comparison to my crystal glasses but that is expected and makes the product more useful for everyday usage. No lines in the goblet which you can see in some other glass goblets at this price. The cobalt blue adds a burst of color to any dinner setting especially if you have mostly white dinnerware like I do. Add a red dessert plate or red napkin and you're all set for the patriotic holidays. I bought some cobalt blue dinner cloth napkins for everyday use and it makes the table look so more inviting. I also bought Bormioli Rocco Murano 14 7/8 oz Cobalt blue glasses for the beer, juice & milk drinkers in my family and the same brand of glasses in the 9 oz size works perfect for cocktails or dessert cups.

We registered for these at our wedding on BBB 3 years ago, and returned them for the cash. Ever since I regretted it, and have wanted to buy them again. Finally they were on sale at Amazon and I just received them today.They're absolutely stunning. Solid and heavy, but still delicate and beautiful. Like others have said, they're great for everyday and special occasions. The packaging was great, an inner box with the goblets, wrapped thick bubble wrap (a really heavy duty kind I've never seen) and then an outer box. I have amazon prime, bought them on a Sunday, and they came on a Wednesday - so less than the anticipated "1 to 2 extra business days to process."I will say, the price on amazon varies by as much as $30. The standard, normal price for them is around $40, but I got them cheaper than that, and I've seen them as much as $67. They're cheaper here than anywhere, and may well be worth the extra money to you, but I was willing to wait, and glad I did.

I bought these to coordinate with my Blue Willow China, and they are perfect. These glasses are elegant enough for formal dinner use or everyday use. The stem area is short and that's a real plus for balance as well as it helps with a sturdier glass unlike a longer stem which tends to be a more fragile glass. It just fits the hand so nicely it's a joy to use. I really love these. They are not as thin as some fragile, cheaper types. Libby brand may not be known as a high end brand name, but it's "quality" that really holds up and gives a lot of good service. I loved these glasses so much I bought a dozen Libby cobalt blue 10 oz juice glasses (out of production) off eBay. I went one step further and found a great price on a dozen cobalt blue "stemless" wine glasses ($1 each) which I use as regular drinking tumblers. I'm totally delighted with the cobalt blue color and how nice everything on my table coordinates. Oh yes, just for fun I bought some Anchor Hocking cobalt blue glass coffee mugs at Wal-Mart for $2 each. They are very heavy and hold 16 oz. A great coffee "mug." I like a mug to carry with me in the house and really like the 16 oz capacity. So if you like cobalt blue I recommend the Libby glassware. It will make every day special.

I ordered these glasses because I am, without a doubt, the world's biggest klutz. If I had a dollar for every glass I've broken in my sixty-three years, I could help the government out of their fiscal crisis!My husband suggested we buy some very expensive plastic glasses from a restaurant supply company. I'm glad to say I didn't break them, but I hated them. I really don't enjoy drinking out of plastic and after a short time, they became cloudy despite the fact that they were supposed to be dishwasher proof.I decided to try these glasses because they were a different shape than any everyday glasses we've had and I've always liked Libbey glasses. Of course, I've also always broken them but I hoped I'd have a harder time knocking these over because of the goblet shape. I also thought they'd be harder for me to drop. I had done quite well until today, when I was putting one into my dishwasher and the base just came off. Obviously, I must have cracked it at some point, because it was a very clean break. They do wash up beautifully and never get water marks on them.I was very upset because I was trying not to break these but I still think my theory is a good one. These goblets fit in people's hands very well and everyone seems to like them. I'm hoping today's accident was a fluke and that I'll have the rest of them a year from when I bought them. If I do, I plan on buying some more. Blue is my favorite color and these are a lovely, rich blue. You can never have too many glasses, especially with someone like me in the house!
