I was looking for a simple way to secure my different deck boxes that have gardening chemicals in them etc.And they were perfect for what I needed.The locks are easy to use, you can pull the lock tighter without the key but you cannot pull the cable out.The locking mechanism works quite well with the lock and button release of the cable.For as lightweight as they are, they are pretty secure.

We bought a bike lock and a bike cover. But we couldn't use the lock to secure the bike to something quite secure AND use the cover at the same time. But now we can! We can put the bike lock through the Tagout Cable 1 which is through the Tagout Cable 2 around the cemented stair pillar. Tagout Cable 1 reaches up inside the bike cover without keeping it from protecting the bike.
