I’ve tried a few colors of cables from Luigi’s, none of which have been even close to pictures advertised. They’re not bad cables, but overpriced and sort of ugly.

On one of the five cables, there was no insulation between the tip and sleeve on the plug, see pic. Will I still buy Luigis cables, you ask. Sure, discounting this oversight, I do like their cables.

Luigi's cables have quickly become some of my go to cables for patching, they are soft, which is always welcome in my modular spaghetti to help prevent tangles, the heads are a reasonable size, so that they can easily go into Stackables with no issues, and take up less space at the jack, which is great for crowded modular systems. No signal degradation, good contact and click when inserted, just generally great cables, imho. Nice little moustache make up the anti tension at the vase of the cord, a nice touch. I keep ordering these cables in particular when adding to my patch cord collection, mainly due to the great pricing and availability. I have slowly begun replacing even my beloved Hosa patch cables with Luigi's. Excellent patch cables.
