I ordered these spoons because we needed soup spoons and they were pretty and a good price. Never did I expect they would make me want to buy a whole new silverware set - but they are so good I just have to! They are the perfect size, and a really nice weight. I try to wash and dry them by hand when I can, but even after several months of cleaning in the dishwasher they remain untarnished and beautifully stunning!! Definitely will be ordering a complete set!

I really should have snatched up the whole set with all the pieces the second I saw them available on Vine, and I would have if I'd known then what I know now.These are my absolute favorite of any tablespoons I've ever used. I like them better than my silver, better than the expensive department store ones we used to have, and I truly regret not getting the other pieces.I use these every day. I thought they would show scratches or the color would somehow get messed up, but they just keep looking brand new.They're a joy to eat with. Seriously. A joy.I didn't know eating ice cream could get even better.They're beautiful, the weight and length and balance are perfect, and I get a giddy feeling every time I open the drawer and pull one out, imagining how great it would be to have only this whole set in that drawer.I guess I'm just going to have to buy the rest of the set.

There's just something about soup spoons that I love. I don't know why I am such a huge fan of this particular style of spoon, but I feel as though they're not as commonly used in restaurants as they once were. Perhaps that's why I'm so intrigued by them, as I've not had success finding a set of quality soup spoons to add to my own silverware collection. That was until I found the perfect set by the Mafier brand.Having ordered from this company before, I knew that they had high standards of quality craftsmanship. Since I was extremely happy with my full set of matte gold flatware, I was thrilled to add these matching soup spoons to my dining table and I already knew I'd be pleased with them.But I had no idea how much I'd love these soup spoons. Like I said, I knew I was ordering quality, but Mafier really perfected what cutlery should be with this soup spoon.This is the most perfect soup spoon due to the overall design. The ratio between the handle and neck of the spoon, the overall length, and the depth of the inside bowl of the spoon all together creates the perfect soup slurping experience.The tip of the spoon is perfectly rounded which results in ease of use. It's lightweight where it's easy to maneuver for even frail or younger hands, but heavy enough that it won't topple out of the soup bowl.Mafier has done it again with such a high quality piece of cutlery that offers classic beauty to your tablescape, along with dining functionality to your meal. This soup spoon set is a great value, and I highly recommend adding it to your collection. In fact, at this point I truly believe anything made by Mafier, whether it's a full set of cutlery, or an add on accessory utensil such as a soup spoon, dessert spoon, or even an iced tea spoon, will arrive with high quality craftsmanship and beauty that cannot be beat.

I have the matte Gold Accent spoons. These are clean and fancy looking spoons and easy to hold. I like this spoon with the long handle. They are useful for reaching into bottles or jars either to stir or scoop.

These spoons are so fancy! I love them. They feel good when you use them like you've been invited to a special dinner. They are made with high quality material obviously. Definitely recommend.

My preferences:I do not like silverware that is oversized. I like black matte. I like the brushed look. I do NOT like to be able to taste my utensils. I like silverware to be heavy enough to feel in my hand. I do not like them to be flimsy and easy to bend. Designs need to be nice, but don't need to be perfect- but it is a benefit the closer they are to perfect. I need the angle of the eating portion silverware to be correct, and the handle not to hurt my fingers. I want them to be easy to clean and keep new looking.I got both the soup, as well as the sundae spoons. This review covers both of them.This spoon set:-This is a set of 4 spoons that come packed individually in heavy plastic bags, all within a box.-They are nice and heavy, but not overly so. The balance is good.-The angle for the bowl of the spoons is appropriate.-They are actually a quite beautiful brushed matte black. I attempted to show it in the pictures. I do not know if I succeeded.-The matte of these spoons doesn't seem to be the type that will be able to be wiped off easily (certain finishes are), or damaged easily. They seem as though they will hold up and be easily cared for.-They are sized well. ~The soup spoons are large enough to hold some liquid, not so large that they can't go in the mouth. Although... since they are soup spoons, it would have been ok to be slightly larger. ~The sundae spoons are appropriately small, and long. ~In the pictures, I compare them to one of my regular teaspoons, which is a shiny black.-The spoons do not have the taste of metal about them as some do.-As far as the decorations go, they are decent and well stamped, but not perfect. If the stamped designs had been more consistent and higher quality, they would have been 5 star from me. As the designs go, the inconsistencies are not terribly noticeable, but are also obviously stamped.Overall:Really nice spoon sets that I would not hesitate to recommend.

These are absolutely beautiful. I would definitely bug again. I love them. I just hate I didn't order them sooner for a party I had last week
