I am a streamer, and the only thing this does over a $40 chinese xlr mixer is it can capture 1080p video, THAT IS IT!! NO VST or anything to make your mike sound better, mixer software is so much worse then sonar GG, those 6 buttons at the top are NOT programable, they are just F1-F6! Save your money and buy something else, after 30 minutes, I packaged it back up and returned it!!

I thought this would be a solid replacement for my Rode X Streamer X, because basically everything can connect to the device. I found that the microphone quality (using the same microphone was not as crisp and deep. I got it to run including my web came attached to the device. It worked just not well enough to replace my Rode X streamer X. If this is you first device then I think it is a good one as Rode is about $100 more, and not everything can be connected to it.

I'm no pro-streamer. I wanted to start with that since my use of the MainStream is very basic but it does what I need it to at the moment.Manual? Basically not there lol. This is one of those things you have to research on your own to really get the most out of it.Dinged one star for that alone since I know a lot of folks prefer a solid manual with big tech purchases like this.I like how nice and compact it is and how it simplifies streaming by unifying my camera, mic, and headset into one easily controllable interface.

The potential of this product is there, no freezing from ps5 as far as game capture and device is detected by all streaming software including TikTok live studio, the matrix software is atrocious with no guide or walkthrough for beginners, multiple owners I have spoke with all experience static/distortion at times with echos and delay of audio as well, reached out to mackie support and even the man I spoke with on the phone to do a walk through with me had troubles, extremely disappointing. Really hope we get an update soon

This is the perfect companion for any streamer! it looks amazing, is built well, and functions even better! I've just recently started streaming and messing around with OBS, so I still have a lot to learn! I read another review that gave it a bad rating and I really believe that they didn't know how to use it out what it could do! Now I will admit it can be confusing for sure, and it doesn't help that the manual is basically useless. So, I don't fault them. But this mainstream interface hub from Mackie has so much potential and functionality! So far while using this I haven't had any problems, everything works as it should. There's plenty of I/O to do basically anything you would want. My only complaint would be that it only captures video in 1080p @ 60fps, really wish it was able to capture at a higher res and fps. Other than that, no issues. Highly recommend!

I purchased this on June 16, and on October 27 it died. I was on my computer, and all of a sudden there was a very loud noise in my headphones and then all sound cut out. My computer has no sound and no microphone inputs.I contacted Mackie customer support on October 28, and after the customer service agent told me that I should have bought a back-up, I was sent an email requesting more information. I replied to the email with all the requested information 12 minutes later. It has been 8 days and I have not heard anything from Mackie. So I reached out to their customer service department again to check on the status assuming some progress had been made. I was told that they are still waiting on my response.Buy the Rode Streamer X, or anything other than the Mackie. Between the product not lasting, and the clear lack of concern from their support team, it is not worth it.
