Pretty much just like a Noga stand, but a fraction of the price. Maybe the magnet isn't as strong? Still works fine anyhow - not like you're hanging a brick off it (hopefully). Love being able to just position the arms, twist ONE knob and it's all locked up. Has a fine adjust screw at the indicator end as well.

So I can't comment on the functionality yet but the box was damaged and the mount just stuffed in it. Bot sure if there were supposed to be any paperwork with it but there was none. Not impressed so far. Also the magnetic base sticker is off it.Update. I sent it back. Doesn't work properly. I'm sure from the damaged box it was a return.

Took a while to get here, but for the price worth the wait. When it arrived the box was all crushed but thankfully it's quite well built and was undamaged. Works perfectly for my needs and so much nicer than the rigid post system I've been using.It's fine tune adjust screw is a little rough in my opinion but that's my only issue so far.
