It works great, I threw it in an 80s Ibanez with an old Floyd rose that wouldn't quite stay in tune and unlike just putting a block in the trem this thing allows you to still pull up on the trem when needed while still pushing the trem back to zero for great tuning stability, I have zero complaints. the only thing to note is that I can see how it might loosen itself over time but if it does I will just throw a little thread lock on there and it will all be good, I don’t blame this on the product because it’s almost unavoidable.

Good adjustability for different spring tensions. Easy to install, though:- Make sure you don't screw into the back of a pickup (the body behind the tremolo springs can be thin).- make sure there is enough clearance for the apparatus so the springs don't rub. Might have to bend the springanchor upward a little bit.- Take your time and consider its aligned position and how much adjustability it has (you don't want extra screw holes in your guitar)your guitar).

Used on Ibanez guitar,I put this in the tremelo cavity, in place of middle spring, on a double locking cheap floyed rose pat tremelo. Dive bombs and flutters and stays perfectly in tune like an expensive original floyed rose, Amazing product, purchased again for my Ibanez jem jr.Can't own a FR without one of these in the cavity, pro secret.

Holds tuning ok, but has a noisy metal click when tremolo comes back to rest on it. -Suggest glueing a thin sheet of Teflon or UHMW between the two.

I suppose if the mounting surface were way below the plane that the stings lie in this would work. In my cavity there was no way to get the double unit in between the strings. Returned and I'll try the single.

As mentioned there were no instructions at all. It is mostly intuitive to mount though to use it is a little confusing - fortunately there is enough information online for similar mechanisms. Once you get a handle on what moves which part where, what makes the spring tighter and looser, and get it aligned just right (and even between the two sides) you are set.It is a good value as long as you have the time to get it sorted. It mounts solidly though the screws are easy to round with a screwdriver. Also don’t even start until you have the term set up correctly. It doesn’t fix a bad setup, it stabilizes a good one. Torque it down well and you can even handle tuning changes without disaster.

Instructions on how to adjust would be nice. But once installed and setup my licensed Floyd returns to zero every time.
