Nice meat mallet. Tenderizes nice only complaint is ot sounds like there is a piece rattling around inside when using, other than that it is well built and does what it's supposed to.

While I have not used it much to comment on its lifespan, I am pleased with it. It is the ideal dimensions and weight. It is easy to clean.

The dimensions are acceptably close, the head length is .022" under size. The weight is half an ounce lighter than listed though. I ran strong magnet around it and found it sticks quite well to the teeth side. So I am having my doubts if it will rust on that side. The weld on the handle to the head is a nice clean, well sealed job. As one review said there is a rattle in the head and I think that will bug me for a while. Before using it I have to say it appears to be a nicely made mallet.
