These Meiho Chibamaru line spools are great for storing all tenkara lines or pre-rigging it ready to go so all you have to do is unwind the line and connect it to your rod. The spool has lots of places to hook you fly in and the line can be tucked between the foam center and plastic sidewalls to keep it secure from unraveling. Spool fits snug on your rod handle. The Tenkara line holders are 70mm (2.76 inches) wide and 13mm (1/2 inch) thick.

These are line holders. I'll keep a couple of lines set up for different situations. I could use a beer can but these will be easier to carry.

A great deal, allows me to keep different lengths of line ready for different conditions. Holds the line well, allows the ends to be tucked into the foam so it does not unravel.
