Lid was cracked inside of cooler and detached from wood lid as screws and nails were too short.I had to glue pieces of wood that were detached and replace screws.Would not recommend at this price. I should be offered a refundThis item is a gift and is needed

My wife and I were really excited about this piece as it blends in with the rest of our outdoor furniture. Unfortunately, the unit was damaged like so many others have reported. I have ordered a replacement and will update my rating upon receipt. It really is a beautiful piece of furniture so we are hopeful that the next one arrives in one piece.UpdateKudos to Amazon for getting me a new unit in less than 48 hours. Unfortunately, this one is busted in the same area. The packaging is just inadequate. I would venture to guess most of these units arrived damaged. I hope Amazon removes this product.

This coolers are great. I entertain on my patio often and I have two of these coolers. They will make a great addition to any patio. I live in Texas and these coolers keep drinks cold all day.

I wanted something like this for our deck, so it wouldn't look like a cooler. Very pleased with the way the item looks and it seems sturdy, but the cooler is not very good. It works as well as one of those cheap coolers you can get at walmart. Ice will melt within a few hours. Probably due to the fact that the top may not be sealing tight?? I wouldn't buy it again.

I bought this cooler for my husband for Christmas. It is gorgeous! Very heavy solid wood. I would reccommed it to anyone that has a beautiful deck like ours and they want to keep it looking classy. I thought the price was a little too high but it really is like a piece of furniture. For now, it is in our living room until the warmer weather arrives and it looks great in the living room too. It would also make a nice end table.

- When the cooler arrived and was removed from the shipping box, we found about one third of the screws holding the cooler cover fell out as soon as the lid was lifted. On inspection we found the screws had fallen out because the holes were too big and the screws would not stay in. This required us to put filler into the holes and then re-secure the screws. After repairing the cooler, it has worked well which is why it got 2 stars. If it had been constructed better, it would have gotten at least 4 stars.

bought this for a party and it definately was a conversation piece. Also is very well made kept everything extra cold. Definate must have, and the wood looks great.
