Product description did not list that the retaining rings were also included, so I ordered a set. When I received the axles, it had everything for install, too include both retaining rings. Verify with your purchase if your kit will include them. Some reviews said they did not get them. Overall very satisfied with them and had zero issues swapping them. Highly recommend.

What you would expect parts were packaged very well and you can tell materials are high quality. Some people gave this a bad review because you need to press on tone rings and bearings, but thats common place. If you cant do that you probably shouldn't be trying to do this yourself. Takes about 3 hours to install if you know what your doing.

The JK rear half shafts are pretty notorious for bending & breaking, but thankfully they are easy to change. The half-shafts are held in by a retainer ring that bolts to the axle tube. This allows you to change the shaft by removing the wheel & brake caliper only; no need to remove the differential cover to take out a C-clip.Installation is easy. The difficult part is assembly, especially if you don't have a shop press. I was able to use a dead blow hammer to seat the ABS tone ring. I used an impact gun to pull the lug nuts through the flange. However, I had no means to press the bearings onto the shaft & ended up taking it to a shop to get the bearings pressed on. Unless you have a shop press or some other exotic means of bearing installation, plan on hiring that part of the installation out.PRO - Contains all parts necessary for replacement, no need to remove anything from the old half shaftMore economical; could buy this kit of 2 half-shafts for less than 1 OEM shaft.10 year warrantyCON - Everything must be assembled, you will need a shop pressWould have been great if there was an option to buy these per-assembled.
