Got these to monitor voltage on a battery pack. Adding pictures for size of a few others I have.Yes you need to adjust the trim pot, easy stuff.TIP - just pot the wires with hot glue or epoxy so they don't fatigue off if you're moving it a lot. They work for indoor locations, but with a little creativity have lots of options if you seal them in a case for outdoor.

These meters were just the right size for my project. The calibration pots needed a jeweler's screwdriver to fit the slot, but actually adjusted nicely over a pretty good range. They were reasonably close as delivered, but I needed to get several set up identically, and it was easy to do. Displays are bright and seem to be stable. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that mounting them required some creativity on my part; and might in your case, too, depending on your particular application. Otherwise, a lot of bang for the buck.

Pieces were not color labeled. Every piece that came in had weak solder points. very easy to accidentally rip wires out of mini circuit board

Half of them have already kicked the bucket. I think it's the very tiny wires that lose connection.

They all (even if the same color) show slightly different voltage and need to be tuned.Fortunately these voltmeters have trimmer for these purposes. So you will need:1) lab power supply with adjustable stable voltage output2) good multimeter or voltmeter you can trust3) narrow flat screw driver with tip width 1-2 mm, preferable with plastic handle or even better if with hard plastic tip.Rotating is very sensitive - each tip movement, even fraction of mm will changes measuring, so you need be patient. This is why all these voltmeters show voltage differently - technician did not have time to adjust.Good luck!

These are really need. Totally affordable. Easy to connect, and easy to read. The only real issue with them is they are not accurate. I have two of them connected to the same battery right now, and one of them, the red one, reads 13.3 volts and the blue one reads 13.5 volts. I don't know which one is right. But, they sure do look cool
