Build quality is not perfect and one of the speaker arrived with a bent piece but they sound great. I mounted them in my car and they are not visible so that didn't matter much to me. The speaker was not centered but no detectable audio issues whatsoever. Great pair of speakers for the price. These have massive magnets compared to the 25 year old speakers I had in my car. A definite upgrade.

Far better than the factory originals. Also prior to install gave them a spin on a go hawk bluetooth bike stereo and the trucks stereo. Truck has enough oomph to stress a speaker they were solid. And for the go hawk massive improvement. One be aware caveat. They take smallest size mini clips and the construction is tight, so you will want be sure to shrink wrap or otherwise isolate/insulate the pins.

I’ve used these for three previous projects with excellent results. Just ordered another pair and received the ones on the left. The one on the right is left over from a small project that could only accommodate 1 speaker.The connectors are completely soldered over the top and my quick disconnects won’t slide over. There’s no way to connect the wires. There’s glue literally covering the entire speakers, front sides and even the magnet.They also came in a different box, although same logo and still professional appearing, definitely using cheaper parts and labor.

How could these product passed QC if it has bent mounting tabs and misaligned dust caps with excessive glue and excessive solder in the -terminal as you can tell in the photo.Haven't used them yet but hope they will not sound like they look.Bad product at a not so low price 💩💩

They sound good for being in such a small space. I wanted some sound up front in my van and these little little guys did the trick. I am just powering them off the head unit so they should hold up fine.

1 speaker had a bass sound when you tap on it, but the other had a metal clicking sound come from the coil. I had a similar problem with different speaker, it's a faulty coil.

I used this to replace the 4 inch midrange of a Fisher speaker system I got at goodwill model STV-9005. WOW a big improvement. Fisher had crappy speakers but decent boxes. So as a replacement these new 4 inch midrange were great. No regrets in buying them. BTW they are loud and clear. Driving with a 100W channel reciever.

Speakers work well however were damaged because they were sent in an Amazon bag instead of a box. Not sure why these would have been placed in a bag

This review is tentative due to exchanging for new pair. One sounded EXCELLENT. But the other seemed defective. The one that did work was full and clear. Seemed to have great bass. The defective sounded like a tweeter and had a gob of glue on the dust cap. So I'm exchanging them to give them another chance. The rating will change if the pair work properly. The replacement is here. They seem to work well. Using in a 3 way crossover setup.
