I'm giving this rack five stars, even though I'm not using it specifically for art work. When I ordered this, I intended it for storage of slate signs that I make. The shelves are rated for two pounds each, which I thought would easily accommodate my signs. Unfortunately, some of my signs are heavier than two pounds, so I won't be using this rack as I wanted to do. However, I do also make some wooden signs that would fit with the weight limit. I'll be using it, then, for working with my wooden signs, from drying to storage. I'm happy with the rack, no matter how I end up using it. I can absolutely say that this rack would be a wonderful tool for anyone who needs storage or drying space for artwork. It comes with all the parts needed for assembly, including three locking wheels and a small wrench. I can say that the wheels don't move easily on carpet. When I moved it across my carpet, I had to add foam packing sheets under the wooden signs to keep them from sliding out the back of the rack. I'm looking at a way to add a bar down the back to prevent this. Still, I am happy to have this rack and will find a way to put it to good use.

What a great addition this is to my art studio. It was super easy to put together. The only problem I had were the shelf holes at the joint between two sections. The shelf doesn't have the space to bend down and, when I placed it originally in the holes, It was stuck, so I just bent that one down. I places all my finished but not varnish pieces on the shelves as well as some blank canvasses. This will perfectly suit my needs. If the painting I am placing on there is still wet, I'll make sure to lift the shelf above it. The slots are a little short but holds the normal canvas depth without issue. But the design really holds 25 paintings of varying dimensions. This is an organization masterpiece.

This rack is a godsend. Assembling it was a breeze — I only looked at the instructions for a minute because the construction is so intuitive. I love that it’s on wheels, which is a huge win for my tiny little office/studio. I have to play furniture Tetris a lot, so having a rack on wheels is great for space optimization. It’s also handy when I want to keep papers right by my worktable when relief-printing. I finish pulling a print, place it on the next available rack to dry, keep going. Some things that I like: the individual racks can be pushed up and out of the way to place paper. This is so nice when you forget to start with the bottom rack. Did I mention that I love the wheels? Mobility for the win, and the wheels can be locked to prevent kids or pets from accidentally moving the rack by bumping into it. The matte finish on the metal frame is very nice — I did find that it showed some scrapes when I was assembling, but they mostly rubbed right off with a damp paper towel. The entire rack is easy to clean as well — I’d recommend a damp paper towel or rag. Since I work with oil-based inks, I end up spraying a little bit of Simple Green on a rag and wiping everything down whenever I get it messy. If you work with larger sizes, this may not be the rack for you — it holds my 12x20 prints pretty well, but the edges do come off the racks. This is definitely for work on the smaller side and for people who need to save space.

For ease of assembly, it took me twenty minutes. It comes with all the necessary parts and tools. Now, you may think this is smaller than you expected, but in actuality the size is compact and perfect for a room or small studio. If you work out of your house or apartment, or have a single room as a workspace, this is perfect to roll into the corner to keep as a drying rack. It's out of the way, it's convenient, and it's mobile. With twenty-five shelves, I can store both my prints and my paintings whenever I'm not working on them, rather than leaving them out on the floor or against the wall. As someone who multitasks on multiple projects at a time, it's very useful. I'd ray this rack is good on a budget, when you don't have the money or space for a giant rack worth hundreds of dollars. This is for individual or small business use. I do not recommend this for other reasons. Unlike other racks, you cannot lift the shelves and have them stay up to keep them out of the way. When tried, the shelves very easily fall off. The shelves are also a bit flimsy. This is no issue because you are going to be using this rack for lightweight canvases or paper, but if you are finnicky about some of the shelves being warped or having uneven spacing, then this is letting you know they do just that. But for me, this is just enough!

This is a great drying rack. It was easy to put together, very solid and looks & feels like it'll be durable. The wire racks are as expected and will be sufficient to hold finished paintings. I believe the weight limit is 2lbs per rack which is fine for paper, canvas board and framed canvas so just be mindful of that if you're working with a larger piece that has weight to it. The shelves are removable so if you're working on framed canvas that has a cradle of a half inch or more, you'll need to make adjustments. It's a good value at the current price point ($49.99) and recommend if you're looking for an item like this.
