I bought this for my Camaro and it works really good. It's a little bit more a bit more bigger than what I thought for a spare, but it will work. I'm glad.

Run flat tires are fine if you're close to home, but they're really problematic if you're on a road trip 100+ miles away, especially if you have a sports car that uses tires that have to be ordered. I ran over a screw 100 miles from home. Luckily, I only had to drive 30 miles to the nearest town with a tire shop, but it didn't do me much good, because it would have taken 3-4 days to get the tires I needed and I needed to get home for work the next day. Driving 30 miles on the flat tire damaged the side wall, so even after getting it plugged I didn't have confidence to make it home on the freeway and had to take surface roads. It would have been so much better to have a Modern Spare that I could have just driven all the way home...even if I'd gotten the flat at midnight. Now that I have one, I was able to switch to non-run flat tires that ride better and cost less.

I received my Modern spare tire kit today. Very nice alloy wheel and tire; and all the accessories are all high quality products! I was really impressed with this rugged, super sturdy tire cover/ carrying case!!Excellent Job Modern Spare! I am very happy with this product :-)

This item has already been a big help. My son hit a pothole and damaged his rim on his 2020 Camaro. It is a real shame that these days some cars do not come with a spare tire. I bought this for him a few months back before the damage and it was a good thing I did. His tire and rim had to be taken off and sent to a rim repair place (and was there 3 days) and if he did not have this what the heck were we going to do. This spare fit perfectly and even the mechanic was impressed with it and was really curious where I had got it. Thank you modernspare.com for the excellent product you have here. It was a life saver

I am very happy with the Modern Spare we got for our Camaro that did not come with a spare. We tested out the spare and it was very easy to install and works great. The case is a nice feature and we highly recommend getting a Modern Spare if you do not have a spare tire in your vehicle. We have a sense of relief knowing we have a spare tire, just in case we get a flat.

Kit arrived well-packaged and ahead of schedule. Very nice carrying case, wheel/tire, jack, and tools. Socket does fit the lug nuts. Tire was correctly inflated. All nested neatly together. It’s heavy, but that’s reassuring about its quality. Compartment under trunk floor is not designed to hold a spare, only the inflator kit. Spare tire kit has to go in the trunk but it fits well and doesn’t take up too much space. I will test-fit the spare on my car when I rotate the tires in a couple months.I finally feel comfortable about driving my Camaro on long road trips now. It could be possible to damage a tire such that the inflator kit can’t repair the damage, and only a spare tire like this would work. Without it, I may have to pay dearly for a tow truck, assuming I could even call one in a remote location with no cell phone service. While this kit is expensive it would more than pay for itself in certain circumstances. Totally worth the sense of security.

I ordered for a 2019 Chevy Camaro SS which does not come with a spare tire. Wheel appears to be high quality. Included scissor jack and lug wrench are also decent quality and fit nicely inside wheel which came in a zippered case. While it does take up some space in the trunk I now have peace of mind knowing I have a spare tire if needed.
