The headboard was wider than a king size frame and didn't fit. Didn't realize it was a third party seller so returning is costing over $26, beware of returns before purchasing. They told me I had to pay shipping because of "change of heart". It didn't fit was my reason.

This headboard came in perfect condition, with all the necessary parts, and was pretty simple to put together. It seems sufficiently sturdy. We put this on an adjustable base bed that we just bought, and we had to buy special brackets to make the base attach to this headboard. Based on how this headboard is built it appears there are a lot of options for how high or low to mount it to most bed bases.

We did use pliers instead of the tiny wrench that comes with, but that was just for convenience.I got the brown, which is a VERY dark brown ❤️ That with the smooth, satiny finish really gives it the look of an old iron when is exactly what I wanted. Fit is perfect. Couldn't be happier. I love it!

As many of the comments have mentioned, this frame is the height of a footboard. That wasn't a problem for me since I planned on mounting it on the wall to allow space for adjustable frame movement (wall mounting instructions below). What I don't love is that there's too much space between the rungs and the top and sides, so when you prop pillows up against it, it looks like the entire frame is just the top and side bars (see photos - In the second pic I noted where I *wish* there were rungs). FYI - This is a king frame and the mattress is a California king, so it is about 2" narrower on the sides and 4" longer than a standard king, but the difference is fairly negligible. Ultimately, I'd still buy it again because it's nice enough and very inexpensive and I was out of money after spending a small fortune on the mattress and adjustable frame. If I'd paid a lot for it, I'd be unhappy, but for the price I'm making it work. Maybe I'll move it up a few inches and see if I like that better.To wall mount: I screwed a few small (but strong, rated 30 lbs+) brackets into the wall (using anchors for safety), then slipped the bed frame onto the brackets using the pre-drilled holes. After that, I used some 3M wall mounts for cord storage around the lower rungs to keep it from tipping forward - this works well because you can unhook them without having to take them off the wall and they can hold an extension cord to add some outlets behind the bed.

I don't understand the negative reviews on this at all? Fantastic headboard for anyone on a budget. Personally I used in a spare room bed that needed a headboard. I even got the used very good condition which meant the packaging was very slightly damaged and I mean a little cardboard was torn. I literally got it for almost half price from Amazon warehouse. If it came in poor condition you can return for a full refund I don't understand why anyone would complain. Honestly it's perfect it fit my full size bed perfectly and it fit beautifully with the hardware that was included.. if someone isn't happy with something return it instead of complaining! This headboard is beautiful it feels very sturdy and it is a great deal!! You're not purchasing a fine piece of furniture here so please be fair! I would buy this again in a second!

Took a bit too get (pandemic) but so satisfied with the product. At home renovating and this was the finishing touch in our spare room. Fit perfectly on Queen and we bolted it higher so it looks great. Has the look of cast iron so classy.Thanks
