I bought this to harvest parts off of to rebuild worn parts of my stock distributor. It seemed like the reviews for this sort of reflected it's quality. i considered that at purchase and thought about using parts off of this one to rebuild my factory unit. I ran into a few issues while swapping parts between the OEM unit and this one. The cam gear wasn't cross drilled on center. It would not mount to the OEM shaft. Looking at the cap and rotor the quality seemed to be pretty low quality imported materials. It made me nervous to install the entire unit as a whole so I sent it back.

I bought this Distributor in October 2019. It worked perfectly, but I started having issues with it, so I contacted MostPlus and after providing them the information they requested, they are sending me a new distributor. I have bought a couple parts for my car from them, and will continue to buy their parts. Overall I am very satisfied with their quality and customer service.

Terrible mistake buying this Distributor the money savings ins't worth it, The cost of a tow and Uber ride home when this died on me was far more than what I saved buying this distributor over picking up one at o'reilly or autozone. Save your money.Update: Trying to get Mostplus to honor the warranty that was there when I purchased this is like pulling teeth they keep asking ridiculous questions asking for photos showing the distributor doesn't work, the most recent email they are asking me which internal component inside the distributor has failed. I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase anything from this Seller. Unfortunately Amazon doesn't have a big enough window to rate sellers for autoparts to actually show how good there products actually work.

Worked out well, got vehicle back running again. This is a commonly failed part, Hitachi designed a weird trigger using an Optical sensor and a special wheel similar to a viewmaster wheel from the children's toy. Even brand name oem ones fail eventually. Time will tell how the longevity on this particular unit stacks up against other brands.

After replacing the CPS for a code P1336 on a 97 Pathfinder, the engine was still missing. Since it seemed to be timing related I pulled the distributor and the bearings were rough. The OEM from the parts store was almost $400. Found this for less than $100 and gave it a try. It slipped right in and has been running great. I will update this if there is a change. What a deal

It’s a distributor. Yea! My qx4 stopped running or more like wouldn’t start. Luckily when parked in the garage. Determined no spark. Ordered this. 2day shipping. Nice. Pulled cap and got rotor lined up for easy eyeballing of position. Pulled wires, bolt and old unit. Lined up rotor on new one then dropped it in took a couple try’s to line it up. Put bolt in and wires. Started up set timing with a timing light and running fine for over a month

To begin with, I'm pretty familiar with the 3.3L dizzy on my Xterra.I know that the internal ignition coil pack will rust up and that the shaft bearing can be a issue. So before installing the replacement distributor I wanted to do a little preventive service.I first found that the distributor cap was screwed down excessive tight as was the retaining screw for the rotor. The real trouble was the internal cover plate was screwed down so tight that one screw head stripped and the other sheared off.I ended up having to drill both out and tap new threads and install new screws. When I removed the cam sensor I found one glob of thermal paste towards one side of the heat sink.I cleaned it all off and reapplied new paste evenly to the heat sink.I removed the ignition coil pack, masked off the appropriate areas and sealed the exposed metal frame work.Reassembled the unit and installed it with no issue. One note to make is you need to lubricate the O ring seal before installing.I did not use the cap and rotor that were installed on the unit.I had just installed a new Bosch cap and rotor and used them. They are better quality parts.I've run it for the last couple of days without issue. Will post again if there are any issues.

I have a '02 Nissan Frontier 3.3L V6 truck having idle issues and stalling. After diagnosing codes and reading countless internet blogs found the issue to be the distributor. Seeing this was only $66 I was quite skeptical of quality of the product. I have a mechanic friend that this will be fine and will get my truck working again. Sure enough installed the MOSTPLUS distributor and viola truck is working great again. I would recommend this product.
