not sure how long this cheaply made product is going to last, it is not a quality part at all, feel fragile like a toy

Item is ok....did what it was supposed to but the inner seal was hard to put into place and get to seal....had to try a few times to make it work.

Assuming I got the same part as everyone else who submitted a reviewed. There seemed to be some confusion over the thermostat; as in will a stock one fit or do you need the recommended Mr. Gasket stat. Well in my case my stock thermostat fits into the housing just fine. I'm sure Mr. Gasket would love to sell you a new one and you should probably replace your old one while it's off; but its 'not' a requirement that you buy one from Mr. Gasket for this water neck. I hope this was helpful as it was an initial sticking point for me. I want to be serviceable on the road with factory parts.

company says you have to use this neck if you use their thermostat.WRONG!! the neck they sell measures the same as stock.this is a way to get you to buy a more of their parts.cost me 2 tear downs and 2 days labor to find this out.no more mr.gasket parts.
