Simple replacement part used for Dell Chromebook (Inspiron 3181 P26T). Worked and was easy enough to install, but I do recommend looking at how-to videos on the internet if you aren't familiar with how the Chromebooks are constructed to save a lot of headache figuring it out. For example, knowing that the bezel is glued down helps reduce the fear of prying with some force.

My daughter cracked the screen on her school Chromebook. And like an idiot I didn't purchase a protection plan. So I was staring at a $200 replacement cost. My oldest son told me he could probably replace the screen and told me to order this. While I can't speak to the longevity, I can report that he claimed it was very easy to install. Looks good as new!

Delivery time was perfect, no issue with packaging and just the product we need for our daughter laptop that had a cracked screen. We put it off for months thinking the repair would be pricey, then hubby found the piece on Amazon, ordered, he repair it and now our teenager has a working laptop again!!! If you have or know someone that is good with their hands and repair things, I highly encourage you to order your own piece and repair vs taking it be serviced!! You will save so much!!

We have 240 of these computers in our District and so far 3 screens have been broken.Dell wouldn't ship us replacement screens and wanted $270 to fix them - that's more than we paid for a new unit.This was an easy install and very cost effective.We have had one installed so far and has been working for 2 weeks now - will update after more are installed and given more time.UPDATE 02/15/16: We have installed 3 of these and they have all worked well. We ordered 3 more just to have in stock.
