NICHE PISTON
An ATV piston is a component of engines, pumps, and gas compressors. It is located in a cylinder and is made gas-tight by piston rings. In an engine, its purpose is to transfer force from expanding gas in the cylinder to the crankshaft through a piston rod and or connecting rod
Piston Anatomy
A piston is a cylindrical engine component that slides back and forth in the cylinder bore by forces produced during the combustion process. The piston acts as a movable end of the combustion chamber. The stationary end of the combustion chamber is the cylinder head.

Don’t buy this!! Waste of money!! Clearances are to loose!!! Got in the mail test fit in the cylinder piston had to loose of clearance I installed got the atv back together with new piston and it sounds awful like it’s falling apart about to explode LOTS OF PISTON SLAP spend the extra money get a good piston this one is no good

We bought these for our Honda as the price of rings included a piston so it was same price as Honda factory rings, we installed and motor was smoking, took to dealership and they said the rings didn’t fit piston properly and were not making a tight seal around piston, we ended up using original Honda piston and ordered Honda rings to repair
