This is a good pair of shoes that is comfortable and very nice. They can be worn for office attire or weekend activities. They provide good grip and can be worn as designed for water use at the beach or at the pool. They dry quickly and thoroughly so that they don’t get mildew or mold. They look very nice in person.

I sadly ordered these in a man's nine, not a woman's nine. I say sadly, because I bought another pair of these in my size, while my sister now is wearing this pair. They are incredibly comfortable, fit like a glove, seem durable and feel like high quality shoes. They are perfect for use at the pool or beach and dry very fast. I don't know if I would wear them for hikes, since they have a barefoot feeling, which could be painful on nature trails. However, it could be beneficial on paved trails since barefoot walking has many benefits.

I was immediately impressed by the stylish design of the NORTIV 8 Hike Barefoot Water Shoes. They genuinely look like a fashionable sneaker, not your typical bulky water shoe. (See the attached picture where I'm even wearing them with socks for a test fit!)Comfort and Fit: The shoes are incredibly comfortable right out of the box and fit true to size for me. They feel well-made and provide a secure, comfortable fit, which is crucial for water activities.Build Quality and Durability: While I've only had these shoes for a week with limited use, they feel exceptionally durable. The construction is solid, and I'm confident they will withstand frequent use during kayaking and paddleboarding.Planned Use: I plan to use these shoes primarily for kayaking and paddleboarding. The grip and quick-drying material seem ideal for these activities.Pros:- Stylish design that resembles a sneaker.- Comfortable and true to size.- Durable construction.- Versatile for various activities.- Ideal for water sports.Overall: The NORTIV 8 Hike Barefoot Water Shoes are a fantastic blend of style, comfort, and functionality. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a versatile water shoe that doesn't compromise on looks or performance.

I am approximately a 9.5 to 10 2E shoe size. Considering that they are barefoot-style shoes, I banked on the idea that they would be a hair wider than normal and went ahead and ordered a 10. They fit, but just barely. That said, the length feels spot on! So if you have normal-sized feet (approximately D-width), I would order true-to-size. If you have a wide foot, order a half-size larger. Those are my thoughts on sizing.Aesthetically, they look fantastic! I love the blue color and the orange soles, they look fantastic. Blue or red shoes have always stood out to me as opposed to the standard white and/or black. So looks-wise, these are killer.Comfort, they're decent. I'm new to barefoot shoes, so I'm still getting used to how these feel on my feet. In the end, they may not be for me! And that's okay. That said, it is an adjustment. I don't know if these are zero drop or not, but my feet "feel" close to the floor and there is little-to-no contouring on the footbed of the shoe.Construction-wise they feel decent, but I'm not sure if these would stand up to anything outside of a very light hike. The soles are not particularly thick nor tough, so anything sharper than a pebble would poke and prod. These are great for your backyard, a park, or even a lake or riverbed in my opinion. I would not take these on any trail more difficult than "light walk."Decent shoes for a light-work day. I especially like the "water shoe" aspect, and they absolutely breathe and feel good on my feet. All in all, not bad!

Wow! I'm so pleased with these water shoes! Usually when I buy water shoes, they have a super thin sole and it's hard to get from the car to the water in them. These shoes are actually very supportive, though, and feel like you're wearing an actual sneaker. (Note: I wouldn't wear them for a long hike or anything like that ... just comparing them to other water shoes!!) I love that they have drainage holes in the bottom to allow water to escape, and they also have a mesh top. I ordered mine in dark grey and they look fairly "normal" and nice -- you would never guess that they're water shoes. The toe box is surprisingly roomy as well. I can't wait to wear these paddle boarding - it's nice that they actually have some grip on the bottom.

There's nothing wrong with most of the ad verbiage, for it's generally accurate. Expect thin soles, suitable use in water and wet areas, non-slip bottoms, and an okay skin feel without socks.BUT, the soles are so thin they're not suitable for the stated "nature walks" use. I have plantar fasciitis, and just wearing them for less than a hundred feet caused it to start up. Wearing these out in nature would risk causing an injury because the soles are so thin they'd be too easy to puncture with a rock, stiff twig, piece of broken glass, etc.Note that the soles when viewed from the side suggest that they're thicker than they are when you put them on. Put differently, the foot well inside goes down into the rubber sole, kind of as if the rubber sole's a boat, and your foot's the cargo. So while the sole appears thick enough for "nature walks" from the side, in actuality, it would be risky.I like the looks of these, and for somebody without foot problems and who doesn't need them for more than water park use, they're probably suitable. For the price, though (about $43 in February 2025), they should either (a) provide enough sole to make them outdoor-safe, as claimed, or (b) remove that claim from the ad.I always mark down to 3 at most any time I feel the verbiage presents an inaccurate picture, so 3 it is.
