Not sure what happened but didn't work bike wasn't charging until I rewired the original plug to original reg/rec and worked fine. Bought because my plug melted. Guess I should have just rewired it from the start

Anyone with a 99 - 01 r6 knows they have rectifier problems. After buying a used one very cheap, it had this same problem original owner didn't want to deal with it. Well the permanent fix is to replace the old rectifier and relocate it under the battery tray. takes 2 hours. once complete, this works Perfectly, when moved under the seat it no longer gets hot.

I've tried a bunch of different brands,, by far this one had been the best!!! I'm running a steady 13.8 voltage,, just know that you can't use the stock connector,, besides that I can't be any happier

Replace a voltage regulator on a ‘99 Yamaha R6 and worked like a charm. Only comment is that the connector fitting is extremely tight so was difficult to hear or feel a “click” as it seated but otherwise I’ve had no issues in the last 6 months.

Did not fit my 05 Yamaha R6, likely wont fit the R6S either. Works well enough after modifying the bike connector to match.
