The car ran great with the new distributor but about 10 days after install there was a white flash from under the hood and the secret smoke was released. (totally fried itself). However, I contacted the seller and told them the issue and I got another one the very next day, and it was a Sunday. Popped in the new one and she was up and running again. No problems since then. (about 4 months ago). I know these cheaper parts can be a gamble but I was taken care of very quickly and overall I am satisfied.

The distributor bolted into the cylinder head without much difficulty. However as you can see from the photos the original distributor’s electrical connector (blue connector) is completely different from the OEG distributor’s (white connector). I would advise any future buyer to check this BEFORE installing this part. The second replacement distributor which I bought locally at an auto parts store fit and worked perfectly.

I ordered this for my 2001 Honda Accord Value Package after the distributor went out on it. It was at my home 48 hours later and took 20-30 minutes to install. The car started on the first try. Only time will tell but this looks to be a well-made product and is hundreds of dollars cheaper than buying the OEM product directly from Honda.
