Amazing light bar. Took a while to get used to the touch controls but they're very handy

Excellent product. I was able to get this product at an affordable discount. Provides enough bias lighting behind my monitor. There is no noticeable glare on my monitor. It provides great light to my desk for writing.Due to the way I have my monitor set up, the individual leds are a bit bright and shine in my eyes if I am not sitting upright. I wish the front light had more diffusion. The wireless puck controller is nice to have, but the controls aren't great if you don't look at the puck. I wish the design used protrusions for some of the controls rather than having all of them be indented symbols, making it hard to fumble around in the dark. The puck being completely circular may also make it hard to orient.

An awesome desk light. I work at my computer at night a lot and this light has worked very well for me. I like the blue light neutralization feature as well as the bias lighting to reduce eye strain. The puck style remote can be set anywhere on the desk and is handy to operate. It is very easy to mount to the monitor and can be adjusted for the coverage angle you want. Highly recommended.

I really like the product as it had its controls attached to the unit which I needed as my desk is too small for a puck controller. Touch the right side of the bar to switch between the different temperature colors and hold down to adjust the dimness. Tap the left side to turn on the back facing light which is what you want to use to ease eye strain. In the dark. It doesn't use a power brick for power just a usb-a that I just connected to one of my monitor usb ports. I'll be buying another one for sure when I get another one when I update my setup with a second monitor.

2 touch-buttons, one on either side. Left button activates light on top, right button activates light on bottom. Sometimes button-lights (right-button) doesn't respond (to turn on)... work-around is to make sure to turn on the top-light (left-button) first, as that doesn't seem to have any response issue.other than that, the only other issue I have with this lightbar is that it is not smart-home compliant; meaning i can't control with smart-home apps (ex. android SmartThings). Even with the light switched-ON, but I cut the power with a smart-plug-switch, and then return power to the device, the device remains OFF... meaning I have to manually turn on the light again, leading to fiddling with the touch-buttons which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't

There are only two buttons and one is for controlling the back light and one is for the front. Everything from color changing to dimming to on/off are controlled by just one switch, and as a result the user interface is horrible. Single tap change color, hold for dimming, and double tap for off. However, the double tap detection is horrible and most of the time when you double tap it tries to change color instead. Overall, very inconvenience to operate. They also ship this in a giant square pizza size box with majority of the inside wasted space filled with foam, when a narrow long rectangle box would have worked. I feel like they make the box so big so that it's harder for people to return it as such large sized box no longer fit instead a normal postal box.I am giving it 3 stars anyway since overall it's well made.

The OOWOLF Monitor Light Bar has everything I've been looking for to light up the working surface in front of my computer workstation since I prefer to use my computer in a dimly lit room for some tasks. The added bonus of having an integrated backlight/bias lighting only sweetens the deal. Bias lighting has been shown to not only reduce eye strain but also to make it easier for your eyes to discern subtle differences in gray scale tones on your monitor that would otherwise may indistinguishable from pure white or pure black. As a light bar the OOWOLF Monitor Light Bar is very easy to mount and easy to adjust for brightness and color temperature for both the front light and the back light. Pairing with the remote control was very easy and immediate. My installation of the OOWOLF Monitor Light Bar was for my 27" iMac. The all-in-one design of the iMac can present a challenge when it comes to mounting light bars. This is due to a couple of reasons. First, the iMac chassis is very thin on the front, top, bottom, and sides to create an appearance of having a very thin profile around its periphery. However, with a need to contain both the display and computer elements in a system that appears to only being a display makes it necessary to bulge out the back of the iMac chassis in order to fit the required circuitry, internal components, and cooling. This results in a noticeable contour in the profile of the rear of the iMac. Light bars that require a mount that clamps to the top edge of the display will not work on the iMac. The OOWOLF Monitor Light Bar's cantilever mounting system with a tacky pad on the counterweight overcomes the challenges related to the iMac's unique contour. Once mounted the OOWOLF Monitor Light Bar feels stable and does not move when using the computer.Secondly, the iMac contains a Facetime camera and one or two microphones embedded within the narrow top bezel of the chassis or on the backside of the iMac. The exact location of the camera and microphones varies by iMac model year. When mounting the OOWOLF Monitor Light Bar on any iMac you must be careful not to block both the camera and the microphones. Fortunately, the small footprint of the OOWOLF Monitor Light Bar front mount allows these limitations to be overcome with relative ease. On my iMac I had to mount the light bar approximately ¼" left of center to avoid one of the two microphones. I had no interference with the iMac's Facetime camera. This small offset did not impact the performance of the OOWOLF Monitor Light Bar since it is sufficiently long and can illuminate a broad swath of desk space.I'm quite happy with the OOWOLF Monitor Light Bar. From the attached picture you can see that it does a fantastic job of lighting up my entire work surface in front of my iMac. It does not create reflections on the iMac screen and the the added benefit of the back light makes it a great all around package. The only thing that causes any concern for me is the inability to operate the light bar without the remote control present. I have no reason to expect the remote control to be lost or suffer a casualty, but I would feel a bit better if the remote control was an optional enhancement to the OOWOLF Monitor Light Bar instead of being a required component. On the other hand, by putting all of the controls on the remote control unit, users will not be touching the light bar with their hands which could possibly dislodge the light bar from the display. As long as replacement remote controllers are available separately this concern should not be a show stopper.

Really good light, it's made such a difference to my desk space. The backlight helps reduce eye strain so that I can concentrate for longer, and the different colour temperatures are a very useful feature - Now that the days are shorter I usually have it on the neutral white setting during the day if it's gloomy outside, and change it to warm white for a cosier, more relaxing vibe once I've finished work for the day. I find the remote control quite easy to use now that I've got used to the positions of the touch-sensitive buttons. The light bar fits well on top of a 34 inch ultrawide and my webcam sits nicely on top of it, and I like how the main light and backlight are independently controllable (apart from brightness, but that's not an issue for me personally).

The bar itself is 51cm long, lights to front and rear, providing a ambient back-lit experience to your work space. I returned the last two lamps because one wouldn't grip the top of my monitor because the lip was too small and the other wasn't remote control so it wobbled each time you manually adjusted the brightness. This us perfect. It is a great unboxing experience also.

set up and use is very simple. I don't love that the cheap remote has to be used, I'd rather just turn the bar on/off directly
