There is no noticeable drag when swimming with the ball. I like the large ball size because it is visible from a long distance. It is easy to inflate with the included pump so it can be deflated for a car trip. The reason I give for 4 instead of 5 stars is the elastic waist band is not put together well and thread connecting clasps fell apart and elastic stretched out after two months of almost daily use. But overall it worked well.

I like to swim in the lagoon but often worry about people not seeing me. This solved my problem easily. It comes with a foot pump so I can inflate the ball. The netting is a thin plastic which reminded me of something fruit might come in. The belt goes around and adjust. While swimming, the ball just drags along behind me. I felt a lot safer while swimming. Bonus is that I can use this while kayaking to increase visibility within more frequent motorboat paths.

With it tied to my leg I felt safer going as far offshore as I wanted, usually about two miles. I would get started around seven in the morning and just head out from the shore straight out to sea. I hadn’t even thought of using a buoy until I seen one on another swimmer. This one doesn’t weigh anything to bring along as it floats on the surface behind me as I stroke forwards. It also didn’t cause any drag ether that I could tell over the time I spent out. The air pump isn’t the best at getting the buoy pumped up but will do if it’s all I’v got. I used a battery powered on it to get it done quicker. The buoy is thick rubber that can be inflated to a bigger size than shown but I was comfortable enough with the size I pumped it to. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!
