Delivery was timely. Batteries are used for an RC airplane.

Just bought a pair and encouraged by the reviews. I'm using them for an RC airplane so not super sensitive down to the gram,- but for those counting, the pack along with it's harness weighed in at 153g. The Amazon listing said 60g (which would be physically impossible energy density in 2024) - and the literature claims 120g. Still a good density nonetheless.

Runtime is great, capacity is as expected, great quality and no issues with fit or otherwise!

I haven't done any extensive testing, so sorry I can't comment on actual 2200mah capacity but the value on this is solid and it is lightweight.I have seen a lot of people thinking that getting a lighter pack for the same MAH value is better, but as we all know, weight means the capacity to hold a charge so this I would imagine is fibbing a bit on the rating but that's OK for me. I'm using this in a glider so weight was a bit more important than runtime for my application. If you compare the Tattu or Zeee versions of this same battery they are notably heavier. They are also a bit more expensive which is an indirect indicator of performance/capacity.C rating we all know is an industry lie and everyone just claims what they want, no official testing methods are used, and comparing C rating across brands is useless. Within brands is a bit better and they tend to be honorable amongst their own line but most of the time unless flying heavy high-performing quads (4x the motors = 4x the drain over planes and cars) the C the pack can deliver is almost always way more than needed.Lastly is the longevity and I can't comment on this. So many factors like charging rate (1C or less and the slower you charge the longer it lasts), the charging and using temps, impacts, storage procedures, and of course the obvious age all factor into longevity. Probably the biggest factor is how low you discharge it and all of it wears on a battery chemistry. I have pretty solid charging and discharging and storing practices so hopefully age and cycle count is the only variable. As they say, only time will tell. :POverall it's a good pack for the least money and lightest (does that literally mean cheap in both meanings?) so it fit my needs.

Ovonic LiPo batteries are winners! During the past few years, I have purchased over a dozen of these jewels for my 3D airplanes and RC cars. They are slightly smaller in size, are lighter than the competition, and they have terrific flexible silicone wiring with excellent connectors. Like most top-quality batteries, after a couple usage cycles, they stabilize and consistently charge within +/- 0.1 volts per cell. They have low internal resistance, remain cool during use, and provide a bit extra operating time.As an RC engineer in my youth, I was often amazed at the poor treatment most RC hobbyists inflicted upon their batteries. Sadly, there is WAY too much folklore and misunderstanding about batteries within the hobby community. Hobbyists often do all the wrong things for all the wrong reasons.Sadly, high-amperage charging is very common, as is excessive discharging. Also, few people even take the time to allow their batteries cool down before charging. In addition, most folks typically store LiPo batteries for lengthy periods when fully charged.Unless we are preparing a LiPo battery for storage (or unless there are significant voltage differences among the cells of a LiPo battery), there really is no need to deeply discharge a LiPo battery. Actually, excessive discharging often creates more problems than it solves. Deep discharging can actually create a voltage imbalance among the cells. Also, discharging below approximately 3.0V causes irreversible damage to the battery's internal chemistry. After use, LiPo batteries should be discharged (or charged) to 3.8 volts per cell. This is their "storage" voltage. Many chargers have a storage setting and will automatically discharge a LiPo to this safe storage voltage. When LiPo batteries are manufactured, they typically sit for months before purchase and use. They are shipped from the factory in a 3.8 volt per cell state. This storage voltage is fairly stable and dramatically extends the battery life. Storing a LiPo at this safe voltage prevents swelling and dead cells.Like most batteries when stored, a LiPo gradually drops its cell voltage over time. When stored for long periods, checking each battery's cell voltage for 3.8 volts every month or two will save you an unpleasant surprise when it is time to use again. If you regularly perform these 3.8 volt per cell storage precautions, you will smile when it is time to again fully charge and use your LiPo battery several days, weeks or months later.Additionally, ALWAYS use balanced charging on any LiPo battery with more than a single cell (1S). Also, do not cook LiPo batteries with excessively high charging rates. Low to moderate charge rates work just fine and allow the battery to last a long time. With most common 2S, 3S, 4S & 6S batteries, I recommend a charge rate of 1 to 2 amps. Even with a very high C rating, LiPo batteries do much better when slowly charged. We get considerably better battery performance and a much longer battery lifespan. My own dual charger goes up to an insane 16 amps (did you want those fried or scrambled)? Charging at 2 amps requires about one hour to fully and safely charge most common LiPos. If you're racing or in a hurry, just buy additional batteries.Despite all the common stories at the field or track, fast charging a LiPo actually degrades optimal battery performance. It shortens the battery life and it can also create spontaneous combustion. If you've ever seen a lithium battery ignite, you'll never forget it!High amperage charging is the #1 most destructive thing folks do to these little power cells. The #2 most injurious is storing a fully charged LiPo for extended periods. This isn't just opinion, it is scientific fact. Again, allow LiPo batteries to cool before charging and charge them at a low to moderate rate. When finished using LiPo batteries, they should be put away at a storage voltage of 3.8 volts per cell (and checked periodically if stored for months). Gee, I'll bet you wish somebody would have told you about this stuff a long time ago! Before discovering Ovonic LiPos, I purchased only expensive name brand batteries (Spektrum, Traxxas, Precision Aerobatics, etc.). Years ago, that was the smart thing to do. However, for a recent project, I was looking for a very lightweight 4S 2200mAh battery for an ultra-light 50" wingspan balsa Addiction X 3D airplane (with 3D, every gram counts). In my research, I came across Ovonic (only 176g) and was impressed with their manufacturing quality and the price.Ovonic are now my go-to LiPo batteries. Their performance is truly impressive -- and I can usually buy 2 Ovonic batteries for the price of just one of the major brands. Check them out for yourself... you'll be glad you did.

I am actually using these as spare batteries for my Exothermic Pulsefire Flamethrower - The factory batteries are $40 each and these are 400mah more, so it's a no-brainer.Have had both batteries through several charge cycles without a hitch, they do seem to last about 25% longer in the Exotherm than the OEM battery (which jibes with the MAH rating) - all in all, VERY happy w Purchase and would def buy again in the event i need to replace batteries again. Also, or what it's worth, the Exotherm unit uses these to drive a dynamic pressure pump that draws a LOT of amperage (as well as a piezoelectric ignition unit) and these take everything I have thrown at them without a single hitch, in a lower-draw use like RC, etc i would think these would absolutely EXCEL !!!!

These batteries have same specs and adapters as my current battery. Both of them did not complete 1 minute drive and I got low battery alarm. My existing one lasts 6-8mins depends on drive speed. These did not last 60 seconds! Both were fully charged before the drive.I will recharge them give it another try. Till then, I am not happy with their perfirmance.
