I recently purchased the SQECH 4-in-1 Air Quality Detector, and I’m genuinely impressed with how practical and user-friendly it is. I was looking for something to monitor indoor air quality, especially CO and CO₂ levels, and this little device does the job perfectly while also tracking temperature and humidity. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I’m keeping my home environment safer and more comfortable. The setup was straightforward, and the display is bright, clear, and easy to read—even in low light. I like that it offers customizable alarm settings for both CO and CO₂, so I can adjust them to fit my preferences. The three-level indicator system is simple but effective, and I appreciate the audible alarm—it’s reassuring to know I’ll get a warning if levels become dangerous.I’ve used it in multiple areas of my home, and its compact, portable design makes it easy to move around. It’s also been great for travel—I brought it in our RV on a recent trip, and it felt like an added layer of safety, especially when cooking or heating the space. The battery life is impressive—it easily lasted several days on one charge, and the USB-C fast charging is a huge bonus. I love that it's versatile enough to use at home, in the car, or even while camping.Overall, this is a solid purchase if you want a reliable air quality monitor with multiple features packed into a compact and sleek device. It's not just functional—it's something I feel good having around for my family's health and safety.

This seems to be solidly made and weighed more than I had expected. It has a full color display which is very nice and makes it easier to read quickly. The O2 reading appeared to be correct, the temperature and humidity were within reasonable error with readings from other equipment, and the atmospheric pressure was reasonable with that from the local weather source about two miles away. Then we have the altitude reading. It appears that there is no way to calibrate it adjust it in any way. But it is way off. I am on the coast and ten feet above sea level according to the county survey information. However, the unit shows my altitude at minus 262 feet. That is right, I am apparently sitting in my room 262 feet under water. This is not even remotely close. It has some nice features like the ability to switch temperature measurement between Celsius and Fahrenheit and to change altitude between meters and feet. But they do not outweigh concerns about the accuracy of the unit, especially when it comes to altitude. All other readings were reasonable but if one can be that far off it does make me wonder if the humidity or temperature would remain within tolerances with a slight increase or decrease in the temperature of humidity.I will update this review if I find that after a few days of testing the temperature or humidity are way off at different temperatures or humidity levels. For now, just the altitude is ridiculously off and all others are reasonable.

What is it?This is solid CO detector that also offers additional transduction of O2 percentage, barometric pressure, temperature, and humidity. It runs on a 1600 mA rechargable lithium battery. Charging is by USB-C. It has an alarm function. The display is backlit color. Pressure is displayed as hPA and alititude.Who needs it?This device can guard against scenarios where carbon monoxide poisoning or oxygen depletion are potential risks. The CO scenarios that come to mind involve being in a confined space and running a heater/stove/lamp: RVs , tent camping, flying small airplanes, cabins, and ice fishing. The O2 depletion/displacement scenario exists anywhere an odorless compressed gas cannister might be near you (like TIG welding in the garage) - or if you enjoy doing underground exploration in caves and mines.Price.Very economical for a dual gas sensing device. It is also a pretty good price just for the CO function.Testing.I tested the CO function using a 50 ppm test gas and it was accurate within 5%. I flew it to 10k feet and the altitude display was accurate within 200 feet of the airplane's altimeter when I set it to 29.92 inches Hg. Battery life was good - the O2 sensor requires heating which does take a bit of battery. The alarm was loud enough to be heard over engine noise with headsets on.How it could be better. This would be a nice thing to have in a small airplane with a few improvements. With those improvements, the product would easily sell at twice the price in that market space. Although you can change the display from Centigrade/Fahrenheit as well as feet/meters - you cannot change the atmospheric pressure units from hPA to inches Hg or calibrate the altitude. (US airspace uses sea level inches of Hg for calibration). It would be great to be able to set the sea level barometric pressure (default is 29.92) and then get an accurate display of altitude. The device would then do two useful airplaney things. CO is a known frequent problem in small aircraft as the heaters are either shrouds around the exhaust pipe or things in the nose that look like the old kerosene torpedo heaters.
