If you're a hard hitter like me and are tired of breaking the bank on replacing one cracked cymbal after another, and at the same time are just looking for a great sound at an affordable price, look no further. I've been playing paiste cymbals my whole life (mostly rudes) and the 900 series heavy crash makes a great substitute for the higher end paiste lines. Fast response, bright tone, with just about the right amount of sustain. Honestly, with the exception of my china and ride(20" rude novo china, 24" rude eclipse) I'm seriously considering replacing my current line up (rude, alpha, pst 8) with the 900 series. And this is a heavy metal drummer talking!
