I suffer from back strain, esp. so when holding up books to read for any length of time. I'm now 69, but have this as a lifetime issue. So when I saw this I thought 'why not give it a try...?' Glad I did! It is extremely simple to put together, and it works very well indeed. I clamp it to my pine wooden chair armrest and it comes up to exactly the distance for comfortable reading. No more back strain! Well worth the price. I wish I had got it a lot earlier. It is small enough so I could take it to my local café if need be. It does turn around 360d, but is a bit stiff, so needs a pair of pliers to turn.

Really good quality stand. We use it to hold e-books and tablets on a treadmill. Easy assembly, solid materials, and just the thing for hands-free reading or watching.

Absolute game changer. Pretty sturdy and adjustable in all directions. Really helps me when I’m reading a book, as I now don’t get neck ache from looking down at a book. Instead, I have this attached to a coffee table and have the book at head height. Highly recommended *****

Like the book clips. Easy to attach to table and bring it closer. Lightweight. Took me a while to figure out how to get it to hold to vertical position, like my Harpsicle. The trick is to position the music sheets onto theholder with the clips at the top and bottom of the pages. The unusual benefit is that with the Harpsicle being so lightweight, it doesn't sit still to my shoulder and bounces when using the tripod stand. BUT the added weight of using this music stand attached to the upper pillar of the harp gives an additional weight to keep the harp from bouncing around! Excellent!

I love this thing. It frees up my hands to type as I read and take notes, which saves me time and physical strain. I would give it 5 stars if it could handle bigger and smaller books, but it's very good with average-sized books.

This stand is solid and robust. It would have been helpful, given my particular desk set-up (I'm a model maker) gif the arm had been extendable but there is nothing wrong with this product and I recommend it

I have had this couple of months now and it is excellent. It is very classy, fully adjustable and I am pleased with it. It saves space on my desk and I can pull it right down close to me if needed. In fact, I am now going to order a book stand by the same manufacturer for the dining table. I would highly recommend this although I do think - good quality as it is - that it is over priced.
