Great toy, although the fabric was a bit too long for our 8 year old. So we cut some of the fabric off. But great Christmas present. Balls are nice and heavy. Would recommend.

These poi veils ARE beautiful, however, they are not silk, like professed! They will NOT iron out with a steam iron! The material, polyester (??) just will not iron out and easily crumples up. It says you can easily roll them up and store them? Yes, but will you ever get those wrinkles out?? Doubt it. Maybe I should try getting the fabric wet and letting it hang dry, straight...Otherwise, they are gorgeous, when flowing. The balls are covered in a soft black velvet. Not sure what is inside of them, but they are hefty enough to give yourself a black eye! (Yes, I did that!) So, be careful! They are NOT light like the LED poi balls you may have seen. These poi are heavier, in order to be able to handle the fabric.The overall construction is nice. I found no faults, other than the fabric not being real silk. Oh, and one more thing I wish they had included was instructions for beginners on how to TIE the fabric to the loop. I just tied mine as closely I could get, with a small know, to the loop, to decrease wind drag.For beginners, I'd recommend getting the shorter length. It takes a lot more energy and strength to get these veils to flow. A LOT more.Also, be prepared to have your cats pounce on the fabric once it stops moving! LOL! Have fun!

I’m so disappointed. I’m 5foot2. This length is way too long, (this isn’t my first time) it keeps getting tangled. It takes a lot of effort and very little grace to move them. And smells like… tennis balls??
