On my ‘74 MGB this kit dropped right in, I’m glad I went new distributor versus just the electronic module b/c my old point/condenser distributor was very sloppy and the o-rings were gone. Coil hook up was simple, had to extent the negative wire from distributor just a bit and replace the terminal connector with a female. Getting plugs, wires, rotor and a new cap was great too. Motor fired and ran first crank, even though I didn’t worry too much about getting timing exactly back the same…. I did break an aged and brittle oil line tween block and oil pressure gauge sensor while fitting distributor. So, when she fired she pumped some oil on the floor. But, I see this as a blessing- the 49 yr old line was crunchy under the SS braiding and if it would have failed while driving it would dump oil pan in like 3-5 minutes. So, line ordered and will be installed soon. Then she will get the timing light treatment to set things just right (dwell meter now stays in closet!) and then a quick tune of the dual carbs to balance air and lean things up consistent with the excellent new ignition system and drive, drive,drive!

Bought my second one. Spark is two to three times brighter Vs std distributor (on a test bench), easy install.
