  • Simple Syrup
  • Crushed Ice
  • Mint

Oh ... you wanted the long version? Here you go:

  1. In a REAL DEAL STEEL Julep cup, muddle mint and 1/4 cup simple syrup
  2. Add 3 oz of your favorite bourbon and pack with crushed ice
  3. Stir until the outside of the cup is frosted
  4. Form an ice dome over the top of the cup and garnish with a mint sprig

The engraving is really small and faint. You have to practically look with a microscope to see it. I wanted to buy about 100 of these for our hotel gift shop… But will definitely look elsewhere. If the engraving was in black or something visible, it would help. The cups themselves I guess are OK.

I purchased two mint julep cups for a friend's birthday gift.I would definitely order this item again or other items from this company. Love the quality of the metal, very sturdy, exactly what it's supposed to be. I had a last name and no picture engraved on the cup. There were only two options for the letter design. I would have like to have more choices and to be able to increase the size (especially since I didn't add a picture). There weren't that many options for pictures either. I believe they are a young company so I'm sure more options will become available.I forgot to take pictures before I gave it away.They wrote me a personalized thank you on the invoice. I thought that was kind, sweet and thoughtful. Don't see that kind of thing very much anymore

I ordered this prior to Kentucky derby. I did not expedite shipping because I was fine if it arrived or not. I received this beautifully engraved Derby mint julep cup with a personal note saying they took it upon themselves to expedite it so that I would have it on time! Five stars for the product and 10 stars for customer service! Great for a personal collection or a gift !!
