The product says it is catnip."Catnip to make my pet go wild" but I'm not so sure.It seems to have them avoid the toys they usually play with when covered it 'leaf' cat nip.I'm a bit bummed.Also, it seems that like the use of feliway, it causes them to mellow... and not get all happy playing like they would with the real herb.So.... I'm not sure.I think I'll stick to the real herb style, and be okay with cleaning up what they don't lick up.

I thought this product would be the answer to catnip all over the carpet. I sprayed all their toys and I got next to no response.

I used the spray to get my two kitties interested in a new scratching post. It doesn't last as long as the old-fashioned herb, but easy to spread up and down the post. It smells minty in the air and got their attention. A little goes a long way.

I bought this thinking it might help repel mosquitoes from my cat. My young cat has sores on his ears and on his belly; the doc says he is probably allergic to mosquito bites. He's an outdoor cat and is otherwise healthy and active. The spray smells funny, my cat didn't like it and after a week I could not see any improvement in my cat's skin condition.

Nothing! We have two young Burmese cats. Their cat tree has multiple posts wrapped in jute rope that we wish they would use for scratching but they show NO interest. So I purchased this " I LOVE CATNIP " I sprayed all of the rope areas and still nothing, our kitties still show no interest! Did it again, still nothing! They love their catnip mice...... Save your money on this spray!

This stuff is great! We live with two cats (our daughter's) and will have to travel with them this summer. Getting these cats into a crate is almost life threatening. One gets so scared, she pees all over me, and the other one hates it so much I get scratched all over my arms fighting to keep him from desperately clutching the sides of the opening. I found a cat carrier that opens from the front and purchased two with high hopes that the cats would think this was a new place for them to sleep. The cats weren't buying it. Very suspicious, even when I sprayed the inside with the pheromone spray that's supposed to relax them. Then I decided to try spraying the inside with catnip and ordered the "I Love Catnip" spray because it doesn't have anything other than catnip in it. As soon as it arrived I opened one of the carriers and sprayed the pad and a gave a couple of sprays on the carrier. I left it on the floor to see what would happen and it didn't take long for the female cat to start rolling around on the pad and generally loving the carrier. Poor big boy cat was left to rub his face on the door, so I got his carrier and sprayed it too. It was magic. The male cat even sleeps in the carrier now. I don't know if the catnip spray will make it any easier to travel with them, but at least they might not be so hard to get into the crates.

Wow! This stuff is strong!I just got this yesterday and wanted to try it right away. I sprayed something called a 'Perfect Perch' I have for my cats. It's like a long continuous brush, in a half circle, that cats can walk through. I gave it 3 shots...The aroma just completely filled the entire room, and my one cat, (in that room) was really loving it. The other cat was in another room...A bit later, (coming out if that room), my other cat must had got a wiff of the spray, as his nose (and tail), went straight up in the air, and he followed that from where he was, then all the way down the hall, and into the room where I had sprayed this. It was actually 'comical'!He stayed in that room for quite a while, rolling over, and getting just plain goofy.I know it's a small bottle, (and pricey), compared to others here, but from my first experience with this, I think it will last a long time. One spray should do for the day.
