The biggest problem is trying to beat the number on the various colored calipers. For example the numbers on the blue caliper are black and it is really hard to read

I find these to be extremely handy. Great for jewelry makers and crafters of all types. These calipers can easily measure the inside/ outside diameter of items under 6 inches long. I also use them to visualize and compare the size of things that aren't already in front of me. These are easy to read, made well and I do prefer them to more expensive metal ones that I have owned. I would certainly recommend these small calipers for your measuring needs. Five stars!
