These are very nice boots. They fit well and have smooth fleece around the top and bottom. I like this, as it helps prevent rubbing around the pastern. The boots have a little loop at the top of the Velcro, which aids in pulling off the Velcro. Pretty nice and wide, long sections of Velcro strips. The plastic ‘stays’ are covered with a leather like material on the outside, which should be fairly durable. The stitching seems nice, but this will be the long term test. I like the very dark blue color. Fits my 15.2 and my 15 hand horses, but isn’t adjustable enough to fit my 13.2 hand pony. Overall I’m pleased with this product, and think the price is reasonable for getting 4 boots. All 4 boots are the same size, by the way. I’m pleased with the boots. Time will tell how they hold up, and I will revise as needed.

Absolutely 5 star quality made fly boots! I have a mare who is GREAT at destroying fly boots and she has finally met her match with these! They hold up amazingly on the legs and don't rub. They keep the flies off with breathability space as well. They fit perfect on my friesian mare's bulkier legs with no issue at all. Super easy to clean off with a soak and rinse with hose. The velcro is nice and strong so you have to put some arm work in to remove it when done but that goes to show how well they hold up when on the leg itself!

I have used many brands over many years, from Shoofly to all kinds of imported knock-offs and these are the best quality, closest to name brand that I have come across.Pros:I have found that the plastic stays in cheep fly boots slouch over a short period of time. Shoofly uses metal stays and they last a long time. These say they have "STAINLESS steel" stays. That is huge in my opinion. So far they are standing tall!These are very well made and sturdy. The stays are covered by leather (or leather like) Everything is well stitched. One issue with metal stays is they sometime poke through and this company seems to have solved that issue.I like that their name is on the boot. Not only it says something about the company that it is proud of its product, next year when I look at the boots that lasted I'll have their name so I can buy more.The medium is said to fit a 14-15 hand horse. It is pretty tall on my 14 hand mule. It fits but it would be too tall for any animal shorter than 14. They make them in small for ponies as well.The mesh is sturdy and breathableMy guy has had them on for a week and they are staying on. The Velcro is wide and sturdy.Con:Not much to say negative. Some boots have an expanded strip of Velcro at the top and bottom which would be a nice addition but not necessary for my mule.I highly recommend these fly boots. I'm pretty critical of fly boots having many that don't stay on, slouch or just don't last. I love these!

These fly boots work well and do stay up so no issues there and seem a little higher than the shoe fly boots so I like that!
