I requested this item for review because I though it would make a good lunch bag. Happily, I was right. It's generous capacity, square proportions, and velcro easy-access flap are all winners.Ok, I know this is designed for hanging on the side of your above ground pool. I don't have a pool. But I have a lunch that needs to stay cool :-)This is the first bag I've found that can fit a frozen meal lying completely flat in the bottom of the bag. Ditto for holding a divided lunch container or other typical "tupperwear" that leftovers get stored in.After my entree is in, the bag still has room for a couple of 3x5-ish ice packs, 2-3 Cuties, 3 bottled beverages, some chocolate, and a bag of chips. In other words, a full day's lunch, snacks, and hydration.Best of all, there are no more bulging sides, strained seems, and open top with sodas and chips spilling out.The only negative I've encountered is that the beverage holders on the outside of the bag are too short to hold a bottle or drink mug securely. They hold cans ok, but anything taller tends to list away from the bag and threaten spilling or falling out.I can't speak to how well the mounting hardware works, but if you are looking for a new lunch bag, I encourage you to consider this cooler.

Came with zero instructions, but maybe I was just unlucky. However, it was very simple to put together, only took a few minutes, and now it sits on the edge of our pool, just waiting for the ice and beers to keep it company each weekend!!!

We have a small above ground frame pool and my girls love to just spend time in there floating around and listening to music. We have a couple small tables that clip onto it but adding this cooler has been awesome.It comes with a metal frame that mounts onto the side of the pool and the cooler sits on that. You can fill it with drinks and ice and it keeps things cool for quite a while. This keeps the kids in the pool and stops them from running in and out of the house all wet.The cooler itself seems well made and sturdy for a soft, bag style cooler. The velcro and zippers are well made and overall we're very happy with it.

This pool cooler does a fine job for a few hours keeping beverages cool or keeping snacks from overheating on a hot summer day. It's also a convenient design, attaching to the side of the pool, as well as having the quick-open mini door. Another nice thing about this cooler is that it is completely waterproof. The ice inside can melt completely to a big cooler full of water and it will not drip out. However, It is not the kind of cooler that you can use for items that must remain cool.I tried to use it to transport cheese and other dairy products. I had quite a few ice packs inside the cooler, which was kept at a comfortable temperature in the car with me well I was driving, for about 8 hours. When I arrived, the items in the cooler were mildly cool at best and the thermometer I had inside read 60 degrees. I was pretty disappointed; however, I was using it for a purpose it was not intended for. To keep an icy cold beverage on hand during a pool party, it's a great option.

This cooler is amazing. This made swimming 100 times better in out above ground pool. I no longer have to get in and out of the pool to get a new drink. The cooler itself is a great size and deep, enough to fill a six pack plus some kids drink and ice and has a zipper as well. Ours got rained on and was dry the next day. The inside has your modern day lunch box/cooler lining. The metal pieces that rest on the pool that hold the cooler have instructions as well. I used this for my birthday pool party and my friends asked where I got it.

This ooler has solved our constant problem of running back to the house for cold drinks - the bracket installation took less than five minutes on our above-ground pool edge, and it kept our sodas and snacks ice cold through an entire eight-hour pool party during a 90-degree heatwave. Like it
