DO NOT buy this product from this seller. It stops working after sometimes. Seller will not respond to your questions. Claiming for warranty is next to impossible. Amazon customer service is really bad on this regard.

The small handle side is missing a screw and coming loose. Other than that this is usual prestige pressure cooker

The item was scratched and extremely dirty. The box had a very strong smell of molde. We tried to use the pan and there was water splashing upwards because the pin did not spin.

If you are an Indian, you already know how good the prestige pressure cookers are. But if you are not, then i can tell you that these are made in india, where pressure cookers are used on a daily bases in most of the houses. And we can vouch that these cant go wrong in any way.Earlier models had an issue of pressure bursts due to less water, but these models dont have that issue since they have the pressure valves which let go of the pressure in a safe way. This value also helps to know when the pressure in the cooker is completed gone, which really helps me.I use this to cook my lentils, rice, meat, veggies. Really if u have this one thing, you are good to go with it to do anything dish.And yes there is an occasional case of water coming out when it whistles, but that is because of excess water.

If you're used to Prestige, you can't have any complaints with this item. Works as expected. Also good for situations which need a heavy bottomed pan, for example, caramelizing onions. It seems to be almost non-stick but it may degrade with time. Overall, I'm a highly satisfied customer but I wasn't expecting anything different from Prestige.

The size I need. Don't throw it in the dishwasher. Hence 4 star.Its not like international models, the weight lifts in excess pressure. The weight has a rubber slip to fit on the cooker. Not sure if that will last for ever. But you can get a different model - Prestige - Pressure Regulator Assembly Black Ring, which has a metal ring and steel balls, instead of the rubber grip.The weight (Pressure regulator weight) shipped was not the same as what is in the picture.

We bought this cooker under hurried circumstances. And when we did, I accidentally ordered two! I would've returned the extra unit had my wife not opened one of them and put it to use immediately.She loved it so much that she made an executive decision to to keep the extra cooker as backup.We've used this cooker on a daily basis and it has never disappointed. Despite multiple washes and daily cooking cycles, its retained the finish and has not degraded in performance.I've given it 5 stars because the wife loves it and I don't have any reason not to!

Could have been packed well. Something is not correct. It was not that smooth to handle and use for the first time. A small broken piece of the handle was inside
