This works great on the dog I adopted from the shelter with his medium hunting dog coat. He sheds like crazy so it definitely helps.

I'm not sure if I ordered the wrong size or what, but this brush fell flat. When I used the standard pressure to brush our medium-large domestic shorthair, it barely picked up any hair. Even when I pushed harder, the comb was just ineffective. The brush seemed heavy and well-made, but just didn't do anything for us. I ended up ordering a Furminator instead (highly recommend, in spit of the price), which has been incredible.

This brush works really well. My kitty is 23 years old. She doesn't groom herself like she did when she was younger. And she has the softest fur that matts easily. Using this device makes her hair so soft and shiny. She looks like a new kitty! It's very heavy so I have to be extra careful not to konk her in the head with it or press too hard. Wish I would have discovered it when she was younger. It's so sturdy that I'm sure it would've lasted for 23 yrs and then many more!

I thought when I was brushing my cats with another brush I was getting lots of fur. Boy, was I wrong. This thing pulls off so much hair, it’s incredibly satisfying. Picture just after brushing two of my cats. I love this brush. And my cats do too.

My two male chihuahuas were shedding like crazy since we moved to a warmer climate. I used just the brush initially. I couldn't believe the amount of hair I got off them! I have since used the brush In conjunction with a deshedding spray, and the amount of hair left behind has significantly decreased for a few days now. Was a great tool to combat shedding issues!

Bought this to use on my short-coated German Shepherd mix. Works really well at removing loose hair without damaging her coat. Only major drawback is that the blade needs to be emptied frequently.

It's an okay deshedder. Would work really good on a dog that has lots and lots of hair. The problem is that you "brush" the dogs back and after two strokes, you have to pull the hair out of the comb. It doesn't hold that much as the teeth are very small.
