Worked well for my Chevy 350. Much easier and safer than some other methods of harmonic balancer installation.

had to install new balencer did not want to spend that much money to install balencer one time. I may never use it again but It was worth every penny. Use anti seize on the before useing wash with brake clean after use looks like new again. Used a 15 inch cresent wrench to tighten it up and went on with ease

i have a 2001 blazer. This is the best tool ive ever used. you will need a 16mm to hold and a 33mm wrench to drive it on.

took a chance and bought one open box.Got what I paid For. the Item was received broken at the crankshaft end.someone was not instructed or did not know how to use it. Once the end is threaded into your crankshaftdo not try to turn that end it will snap off. follow directions!I did buy another upgraded model from same company and have used it without issue... if you follow the directions should last a lifetime.

The tool threaded in to the end of the crankshaft, and using two wrenches, was able to have the harmonic balancer installed in just a few minutes. Very smooth, no issues, no drama. Couldn't ask for better. Exactly the same as Moroso #61741, but less than half the cost. Highly recommended!

I used this tool to install a balancer on a 305 sbc. after a few turns this tool sheared off in my crankshaft!!! Now if I cannot get the piece of the tool out of the crank then I will have to pull the motor and either get a new crank or take it to a machine shop to repair. I'm out a lot of time and money because of this tool. I believe the seller should be held responsible for selling this horrible tool.

Tool worked well. Highly recommend lube on the threads prior to use.It seems of medium strength. Quality control might be an issue judging by other ratings.

I always use some sort of spay lube (or oil) on the threads of the tool & make sure it's aligned strait before I apply force to the wrench or ratchet. This installer tool worked as slick as butter. The Balancer slid on to the crankshaft (also lubed) with no binding, jamming, or scoring whatsoever. Took 5 or 6 unhurried minutes to install and I was secure in the knowing that the job was done right. Nice well built tool !

Worked great on my SBC. I read prior poor reviews yet this was nothing of the sort. It was sturdy, and worked as it should. If on the fence, my humble opinion is it is a great tool for the price and will be used again.
