Needed to reinstall a harmonic balancer on my 77 Formula Firebird after installing a new camshaft. This made it much easier to install and potentially less damaging to the threads than using the crankshaft bolt to install it.

The spec for this harmonic balancer installer says it works on 3.8L V6 Buick. I had to grind off a couple of inches of the larger threads (for the large nut and bearing) in order for it to 'reach' the end of the crankshaft and thread into it. It worked great after doing that.
