Push to Open Door Latch is great, but it won’t overcome old worn-out hinges. If you have old hinges that hang up this is not your fix, but then it wasn’t designed to overcome other problems. It’s for use on drawers and cabinets that do not have handles. The spring force is fairly stiff as these are heavy duty latches. They work well and they latch solidly.

I have a cabinet door that's so old the old clasping system fell apart so I got these to make the cabinet into one that latches close, but also pops open when you push on it... unfortunately, the magnet just isn't strong enough to hold it. Apparently, one of the hinges is a little warped, and without intervention pulls the cabinet door open by about a 1/2 inch without the old latch system to keep it in check. So, it's not really the fault of this little product. I think I'm going to have to replace the entire cabinet door along with the hinges, but... but this little thing was not strong enough to be the end-all-be-all fix I was hoping for.I'm giving it four stars because it did perform as expected, and the push is pretty strong on it. While it didn't solve my problem, it did expose that I had a larger problem, and it did perform as expected. We're using one of the left-over ones in a leprechaun trap, and we're pretty sure this is going to launch that leprechaun right into a pool of slime.1 Star = Safety Hazard, or Gross misrepresentation of product2 Stars = Needs improvement3 Stars = Meh, likely wouldn't buy again.4 Stars = Meets expectations5 Stars = Exceeds expectations

I ordered this for my kitchen and they don't fit on the doors, I tried to return them but this seller doesn't accept returns. I lost my money. Double check the honesty of the seller if you are looking something here!

So my main reason for this is to get push open hinges for my concealed pantry cabinet. It worked well, although my cabinet had a slightly different design. It still serves its purpose.

The set of 5 gold push-to-open latches appeared to be a great solution for eliminating noisy and annoying cabinetry in my bathroom and office area. However, I found them unusable for any of my cabinets since they are designed specifically for frameless cabinets, and all of my cabinetry and furniture have framed edges.While I wasn't able to install these latches, I did notice that they seem strong and durable. The latches open and close smoothly and function as they should, which is a positive aspect. Still, it's important to note that they can only be used with frameless cabinets.If you have frameless cabinets, these latches may be a great addition to your home for easy and quiet access. However, for those with framed cabinets, these latches are not suitable. Be sure to check your cabinets' specifications before purchasing this set.

These latches come with adhesive strips, but I would highly recommend screwing the latches in because otherwise, they fall off after some time.Asides from that, these latches work exactly as they should and were a breeze to install.

GET THIS ONE.These use the same basic push mechanism as others, but have a few important features that make installation go much MUCH faster:- They supply double sided tape to mount to the push mechamism itself, so you could just stick it in place!(Installing screws will last longer, but this permits easier and faster locating before screwing in place), and- The push plate (on the door) also comes with double sided sticky tape, so you can just snap the plate onto the push rod (magnetic) and close the door. Then you can either screw that in place there, or just clamp it in place for the adhesive to stick firmly and are done.With this kit, you COULD do a really quick and dirty installation by just 'sticking' both pieces in place and be done with it!!Aside from making the installation dope simple (sez a dope:), it also means you can apply it to glass or translucent plastic doors (like I have) that can't be screwed in to.This set also comes with the 'thumbtack' style screw-in door plate, which you can use if you prefer for some reason.
