My gladiator has a later model 392 axle under the front so the first skid I bought for the gladiator didn’t fit. Check to make sure that you have or do not have the diff oil drain plug on the bottom of the axle. If you don’t, then you need the 2148 specifically due to axle changes. Worth the money!

Installation is straighforward, but I did have some trouble with the bracket that goes over the back of the pumpkin. I ended up slightly bending the bracket to facilitate being able to get the nuts threaded.Use a Torque wrench on the front bolts. Not because it's difficult to get them in, but because you won't over tighten and snap off the head of the bolt.I really like this, and will feel better about my wheeling now that I have my front diff protected a little better.
