I am giving this plane a five based on flying it outside in a large open area with no trees and wind speed of 4 mph or less. If you try to fly it inside, around trees or in windy conditions you'll be disappointed because it takes room to fly and high wind makes it impossible to control the aircraft. In the right conditions the plane is stable, not too hard to learn and fun to fly.In the box you get the plane, remote, two lithium batteries for the aircraft, charging cable, instructions and two spare propellers. You will need to supply 3 AAA batteries for the remote. Including two batteries for the plane is nice because it doubles flying time. The instructions aren't very well written, but if you experiment with the remote you'll catch on.This toy is suitable for an older child that has some manual dexterity. Experience with video games would be a plus. Younger children would be frustrated with it because it takes using both thumbs together with a light touch to keep it flying. I will say that I have had more expensive airplanes, and they did not fly as well as this one.
