I may be relatively new to Manual mode but I've been flying sub 50' over a sandy soil field and the rubber grommet is now missing after a couple light crashes, in the 2nd image you can see where the TPU on the arm broke after the first 15 minutes (a single battery). The TPU I'm less concerned about as it's still held in place by the other side and the zip tie, I'm rather upset about the Rubber Grommet as it no longer balances properly on the ground.

This carbon is light and protects the bottom side of the airframe.

Doesn’t affect weight hardly and it stays close to frame so it doesn’t affect geometry either. Other landing gear solutions throw off the center of balance. Please do an upper connecting chassis!

I’ve had a few crashes with this guy on. I think it actually does better without the rubber feet because it air gaps the distance between the frame and the motors — which is why I got this. It seems to do OK protecting those thin arms on the Avata 2
