How To Order Our Chains

If you order multiple quantities, they will be delivered as one continuous chain. The exception is welded brass chains, which have a maximum length of 10 feet. Quick connectors are available separately for extending chain lengths.

About Brass Chains Brass chains can be used to decorate both indoor and outdoor spaces. About Steel Chains Steel is one of the most popular metals of all time due to its strength and versatility. Additionally, it's a perfect metal for chain and decor because it can be finished to accentuate any room. Since steel is susceptible to rust, it's best for interior use only. Our hefty steel chains are ideal for hanging heavy chandeliers, large mirrors, and picture frames. About Stainless Steel Chains When it comes to household hardware and products, stainless steel is used in just about everything. About Welded Chains Welded chains, signified by a -W in the title, are made from links that are welded closed. This increases maximum weight load, but the links cannot be opened up to directly connect. A chain connector, sold separately, may be required to attach the chain.
About Unwelded Chains Unwelded chains, signified by a -U in the title, are partially or entirely made from links that are not welded. The weight capacity will not be as high as welded chains, but for most unwelded chains, the links can be opened with pliers to adjust the length or directly connect to an item.
About Maximum Chain Lengths Unwelded brass chains (-U) have no length restrictions, while welded brass chains (-W) may be limited to 10 feet. For continuous lengths over 10 feet of welded brass chains, please check with us for availability.

I bought this chain to replace the lame factory chain made of oval links that came with this stunning Moroccan lamp I installed in our main hallway. It complements the filigree metal of the shade so much better and contributes an authentic touch. It's the kind of improvement most people would never consciously notice, but it adds a subtle but significant elegance, and I love that I made the lamp my own by upgrading to this stunning chain.

I’m absolutely in love with my chandelier chain it added formal elegance to a run of the mill pendant light. Directions were included. The best part was that the seller was conscientious and took extra time in wrapping the whole length of the chain so that it wouldn’t get scratched or damaged in shipment. The shipper even went above and beyond by having my order shipped 2nd day. The product is fabulous but the shipper was even better!!!

I am rewireing an expensive chandelier and needed 5 feet of chain to finish the job. I ordered five feet of this chain and was surprised when I received 5 sections of chain, each 1 foot long. Totally useless. Update: called RCH Howe and they were extremely helpful. Ended up purchasing directly from them in the length I needed for a great price!
