My Shark Ion Robot was starting to have less and less run time. From the original of something like an hour, it had gotten down to about 15 minutes. I'd have to let it recharge and then run it again so that it did a passable job.I did a bit of research and came across this battery, ordered it, installed it (pretty easy), and now unit runs like a champ, once again with the original stamina . . . too bad they don't have something like that for humans . . . I could use it.Edited to add:I'm writing this 14 months after my initial purchase. The Shark has started having issues where it just dies after running for about 10-15 minutes. The app tells me the battery has no charge, although the icon shows a 60% charge. Recharging it to 100% (indicator stops flashing and app shows 100%) gets it to run another 10-15 minutes before stopping.I'm ordering another battery, but it may also be an issue with the unit, and not the battery. I will report once I get the new battery.

After storing my Shark robot vacuum, the battery no longer worked. I searched for replacements and this seemed like a good deal. The battery was easy to replace and last well, even after several rounds of the vacuum running. The battery works well, especially for the price. I would recommend this!

The connector is not quite the same between the two batteries. The replacement battery seems to be more of a pressure fit and the shark battery has a little clip that holds it in place. See photos for details. My preference is the clip as it seems more secure. So it was hard to tell if when the battery is fully plugged in. I used a flat edge screw driver to kind of carefully push it down.The battery appears to be working however. I will be watching to see if the connection stays secure or is jostled loose. I can’t speak to the battery life yet as I only just started using it but I run the vacuum almost every day so i will know soon enough if there are any issues.

We have had our Shark vacuum for a little over a year. It runs three days a week cleaning our 2600 square foot home. The battery finally died and I went to the manufacturer's website to order a battery only to find that they are out of stock. I looked up the part number and searched for a compatible battery. This one had good reviews so I ordered it. It was fairly easy to install and has so far performed very well in our machine. Well worth the price and highly recommended.
