This worked in my 80V Greenworks Chainsaw but does not fit the Greenworks 80V Leafblower and caused damage to the Leafblower when attempting to remove. I'm returning the battery but now my Leafblower is damaged. Amazon is unwilling or unable to offer remuneration.

This is a great alternative to the expensive OEM GW batteries. I did have some questions regarding charging and whether to leave it them on the charger continuously or not. The seller was quick to respond and answer all questions. Seems like a good brand and good company.

I received this battery to review and I am going to compare it to the OEM battery with different specs and another 3rd party battery with the same specs to help buyers make as informed a decision as possible.My OEM battery is a 2 year old 5 Ah, and the other 3rd party battery is 3Ah (3000 mAh) like this one. Recently my mower started sucking battery juice really quickly. Initially I thought the first battery must be losing capacity, but after getting 2nd and 3rd batteries I've come to the conclusion it's not the OEM battery itself that's the problem, it's the mower. The RPMs feel really high on it and it rattles a lot, and this increased battery usage started happening all at once after it struck a rock so I think something on the mower was damaged. Anyhow, I'm not going to tell you how long this battery lasts me on my mower because IMHO it wouldn't be representative of a correctly operating mower. However, I do think it should be valid to compare the batteries' performance to each other. Comparing this battery to the other 3rd party battery with the same specs, they seem to charge in the same amount of time and discharge in the same length of time as each other. Compared to the 5.0Ah OEM battery, this 3.0Ah battery charges in a little less than half the time and discharges in about 41% of the time. The strength of mower performance over the time period it is discharging is the same. Now that may seem like a big difference in terms of discharge times, but this battery is only 37.5% of the price of a replacement 5.0Ah OEM battery, so I think the price per performance edge belongs to the 3rd party batteries.This battery fits in the mower slightly differently than the OEM and other 3rd party battery; to get this battery out, I have to be holding the latch down while pulling the battery out or it won't come out. For the other two, I just pull the latch down once to release and then pull the batteries out; no ongoing pressure on the latch is required. This was not a problem for me once I got used to it.This battery has an imprinted 80V label and a printed end label, and the printed label goes into the mower and charger upside-down. This is why I took a star off; it took me a while to get used to putting it in the mower and charger because my automatic reaction was to start putting it in with the brightest label right-side-up. Instead the imprinted 80V goes right-side-up and the colorful label goes upside-down.Overall I would recommend this battery and felt it worked well in spite of the upside-down label which is more of a cosmetic difference. Part of my willingness to recommend this battery though is due to poor consumer experiences ordering OEM parts directly from the manufacturer.

The battery did not fit properly in my Greenworks edger or blower. It worked once I put it in but difficult to remove.

I purchased this 80V lithium-ion battery as a more affordable replacement for the original brand. Once fully charged, it fit my Greenworks mower perfectly and provided a similar run time of approximately 30-40 minutes, matching the performance of the original battery which lasted two years. I hope this replacement will have even greater longevity.

This XAVITO replacement battery is everything I hoped for โ and more! I was a bit skeptical at first, but after using it with several of my Greenworks 80V tools, Iโm blown away by the performance and longevity.Compared to the original 2.0Ah battery, this 3.0Ah version gives me noticeably longer run times โ easily 3x more, just as advertised. I can now mow my entire lawn or run my blower without constantly switching batteries.It fits perfectly into all my Greenworks 80V tools, including my mower, trimmer, and chainsaw, and works seamlessly with the original charger. Compatibility is spot-on.One thing I really appreciate is the high cycle life โ over 1200 charges, which means it should last me for years. It also holds charge really well during storage โ no noticeable self-discharge.The built-in smart BMS protection is a big plus, especially since I use my tools in various outdoor conditions. I absolutely love this replacement battery for my Greenworks string trimmer! After my original battery died, I was hesitant to buy a non-OEM replacement, but this XAVITO battery has exceeded all expectations.The 3X longer runtime is no joke - I can finally finish trimming my entire yard without stopping to recharge.
