So far so good! I've used these with a large group on some small east coast mountains. We were able to communicate from the top to the bottom easily. I haven't tried the ear pieces that came with it but the walkies worked great. Battery lasted all day. Value was good so if the kids lost it I didn't mind. Size was great for kids pockets too.

I’ve had these radios for about 8 months now and use them on a daily basis so I’ve gotten to really test them out. I have 18 of these walkies for my business.Pros: small, portable, lightweight. Does what it’s supposed to; talk and receive just fine. Multi charging base is convenient. Sound quality decent.Cons: the multi unit charging base started malfunctioning after a few days. It has green/red lights that indicate charging status and those started failing. The slot would still change even though the indicator light wasn’t working so we just kept using it like normal. Now, 8 months later those slots with the broken indicator lights have stopped charging and two of the walkies have dead batteries. So I’m ordering another charging base and new replacement batteries.I do like the acoustic earpiece. It’s not as loud s as a regular wired earpiece would be. We have our volume turned up all the way and make do that way. Another thing to note is that it usually takes like 1-2 seconds for transmissions to go through. Meaning we press the PTT button the radio or the mic have have to wait a 1-2 seconds before we start talking otherwise the first word or two will get caught off.For the pice and value is okay. I just wish that I didn’t have to put maintenance into them 8months in already.

These are nice little radios, however, the range on them is not effective for communication around a 100 acre property. I was hoping for more from these after reading the specifications and reviews.
