I've been using Revel grinder for over 20 years, my old one crapped out and had to get another one. I tried several other brands but came back to this. You cannot go wrong with this machine. Best in the market.

I had a little Varco chopper that served me well for many years. I used it to make chutneys and dressings and sauces of all kinds, particularly when I was just cooking for two. Well, the motor finally died and I couldn't find anyone on ebay selling an old version, so I took a chance on this Revel, which some people said was the updated replacement for Varco. What a mistake.The container was not only impossible to release from its cover; the third time I used it, it was equally impossible to release the container from the motor housing. With a great deal of effort, I was able to pull it off and tried the extra container instead, which the company had helpfully provided. That made things even worse.I used it once, and again had to spend five minutes trying to extract it from its cover, only to find that the next time I put the container on the motor housing and filled it, the motor started spinning immediately, and everything in the container flew out on to the kitchen walls and toaster oven. There was nothing I could do to stop the thing from acting that way, so I figured I'd be spending the rest of my life plugging the chopper in only after I had the cover on the container. I was also unhappy with the speed at which the container pulverized the contents; I wanted things chopped, not turned into the equivalent of peanut butter within a second or two.Happily, someone on ebay turned up with an old Varco, I bought it, and it operates like a dream, just as my old one did.I wrote to Revel, telling them what happened and that I wanted to send their chopper back -- and they never even answered. Yeah, okay, maybe they're all sheltering in place because of the virus. All I know is that I will never buy anything made by Revel again. And if you want a sweet little chopper that doesn't turn the contents into goop within three seconds, look for a Varco.

No more mincing garlic or ginger. Fantastic for all small chopping and mixing needs. Easy to clean.

After using couple of times, it's not working. Hard to open the lid. Now I cannot even return it today because return window is closed.

Grinds very well. Love it to grind spices for Indian curries. Very convenient and size is small- perfect for my family of four.

It does wonderful job. Great for Indian cooking to do garlic, ginger and peppers. It does grind nuts also

It works fine ad it grinds wet and dry. However, I wish it was made out o hard plastic. It breaks easily. This would me my 3rd in two years but I'm so used to it I can't stop using it.The makers need to upgrade the materials of it and remake it.
