I am unsure if others have experienced this issue, as I did not see it mentioned in other reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with this product.When the packaging was opened, an overwhelmingly strong chemical smell was present. I thought the usual manufacturing smell might need to be off-gas or have exposure to the air, but this was not the case. I left the cable outside to air out overnight and inside for several more days, and the smell remained. If I touched the cable, my hands needed washing several times to eliminate the odor. The cable was disposed of for safety purposes.

I ordered this cable to use with my LifePo4 battery. I have a multiple port 12v box that also has the XT60 connector as do my solar panel battery leads. I built my solar cables with silicon cable, and an XT60 connector on the battery end, and love the suppleness of silicon wire. It makes for an easy, no-kink method of organizing the wires. The ring connectors are professionally attached, as is the XT60 connector. I am moving all of my 12V batteries and equipment over to XT60 and I am highly satisfied with the purchase.

Works well to connect Lifepo4 batteries to solar. Ring terminals are the correct size and the XT60 connector is solid and attached well. Would be convenient if it came in a larger wire size, but I’ve bought two so far and would buy again.

These cables are nice and flexible. I use them on my LiFePO4 50ah and 100ah batteries that I take to the (rc) flying field - I never run out of electrons!I use this for charging the big batteries at home, at the field via solar controller and for feeding my ISDT chargers at the field.

Good enough cable for the price, by all means. I used this, with some other bits, to upgrade a solar system that I use in a couple different camping situations. These made a big difference in my ease of setup/take down.Cable and connectors all seem like okay quality, and plenty good for the price. I still need one more part to complete my system, and wouldn't hesitate to order again from this same seller.
